Sherlock Holmes lives in London at Baker Street (221B that is) moving him from here would be like taking Batman away from Gotham. I haven't read League of Extraordinary but it takes place in late 19th century, so far I understand League of Extraordinary is a total different from DC or Marvel universe it is more like a Van Helsing universe.

I feel it would be rather stupid to incorporate Sherlock Holmes in the DC universe. First of all he is a London icon, not an US icon. Secondly he does fit in the universe of super heroes. Holmes belongs in a world around the late 19th century. It would make more sense to put him in the world of Van Helsing. Just because a big fictional figure is public domain doesn’t mean you should use it.

More like MJ wanted to be The Joker. The Joker came way before MJ.

@ InfinityAce. Peter has always been a nerd and uncool it is a part of how he is. Cleary this was what spideyfan69 was referring to. I think many people lost interest in him after the deal with Mephisto. Haven’t read it an don’t have any plans in doing so. It seemed forced, non Spider-Manish and just a stupid way to change a lot of things that didn’t seem need to be changed.

I don’t real blame Jason as Robin I just don’t get the idea for him to be Red Hood it seems a bit forced and irrational. Now I haven’t real read anything with him as Red Hood but I just don’t get the overall premise.

That real depends on what you are meaning with psychological problems. Do you mean that the person is mentally ill in the sense that the person does not sense the world correctly (though delusions, hearing voices seeing things that isn’t there) then yeah you don’t have psychological problems because you have anger issues. If you by psychological problems mean that you are not mentally balanced then anger issues is psychological problems. Now I haven’t read Battle for the cowl so I can’t talk about the case in itself but anger issues can without a problem what so ever be an psychological problem. Bruce even mentions in Hush that Jason wasn’t mentally fit for the job as Robin due to this. Jason should know that Batman isn’t the killer type and has his no murder rule so his anger is rather irrational.

Well first of there aren’t that many popular female characters. How many besides Wonder Woman has her own book and have had one for a long time? It seems most female characters works as partners to a male characters or are based in teams. So logical if you don’t have solo book it is harder to get a movie. Why Wonder Woman hasn’t got a movie jet is beyond me. Not a fan of the character myself (however I would like to read Hiketeia) but she has a huge fan base and following and could work as a movie.

Superman and Batman are the most well know/popular heroes. However after this DC only real has Wonder Woman that are known outside of the world of comics. Maybe some will mention Flash, Green Lantern but before this wolverine, Spider-man, Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America would have been mention before. At the moment I would say without Superman and especially Batman DC wouldn't be that famous outside comic circles, at least not in here in Denmark. Marvel has a longer list of popular/famous characters where DC have few but more popular. So yeah I would say that Marvel has more popular characters than DC, where C has the two most popular characters.

@JasonTodd13. As mention in my earlier post Jason already had anger issues when he was Robin and something Bruce had problems with. As a Robin Bruce has more respect for Tim and Dick than Jason. So Jason didn't get his anger as Red Hood that was something he got all along. Only difference is that Bruce is now a target for it.
