In Hush Batman temporally regrets that he didn’t avenge Jason and wants to kill The Joker. He eventually gets his sense of justice back when Jim talks to him. In the same story he also thinks Jason was unfit to be Robin and that his anger got in his way. Bruce hoped that he could somehow use it to form Jason as a Robin, but it wasn’t possible. This shows me that Bruce does love Jason but he also feels Jason never became the Robin Dick was and that he was disappointed in himself and Jason for not being a better Robin.

@ colonyofcells. Why do you think he is African American? I don't get that impression at all.

I don’t understand why nobody has linked to the 3 min expert video about the batcave. http://www.comicvine.com/3-minute-expert-secrets-of-the-batcave/112-1325/ also I thought that the Penny Plunderer was written out of continuity? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMBb-QoYvp8 at 6:13

So you basically mean you can turn every whit character into a black character and you can tur none single black character into a white character? This is wrong morally imo. It seems like you want to make white being the right thing and an upgrade and being a black superhero is something a white character can do.. It feels like Marvel think there isn’t enough black characters they can use in the movie and therefore have to change the color. Why not instead take some of Marvel black characters and use the for instance Robbie. This more tells me the lack of black superheroes/villains in the universe in general (DC is not better for that matter).Without any prove it seems like there is a huge lack of black people living in comics (not to mention Asian and Hispanic). Electro might seems unimportant but other characters is for me more white than black. For instance both Batman/Bruce Wayne and Green Arrow stand for me to represent the upper white class elite. They do want to make a difference, but none the less that is their upbringing. But I assuming you could change this as well? The King Pin has some of the same appeal to me. Now Duncan did a good actor performance like he always do but he just didn’t come on to me as King Pin but more like a black gang leader (not in a street like way). The only character I can think of at the moment could change color would be Wonder Woman. It could be interesting to let her be played by an Asian or Arabic actor. That will probably not happen. Again it is more the trend than this specific case, I don’t see the need for the change it just seem unnecessary.

The movies of cause have their own canon everything else would be stupid. It is not the public that determines what is canon and what isn’t, that is up to the publisher. I agree that there sometimes is no clear decision on what is canon and what isn’t and it is here that you as a reader have some buffer room but in general you should just stick with the publisher unless it logical doesn’t make sense (not because it feels wrong for the character) because some stories conflicts with the canon.

IMO this is just a way to refuse to not accept the reality of what have happened in a storyline. Imo canon is canon that is it. You can of cause have the opinion that story is bad and should not be canon. You can also have different thoughts about loose ends in canon but canon will always be canon. After all it is the reality of that character you can go around and change that. As I see it, this is a way not to accept the reality of the character. Now you can of cause give more weight to the stories you like than you dislike for your opinion on the characters mythos but that is not the same as not accepting canon stories

According to The Man without Fear (some see it as canon other doesn’t) Fisk earns money on child pornography I think that says a lot about Fisk. In general Fisk cares about money first then human life and that is real only the ones that a close to him like Vanessa (even though he has also shown a kind a respect for Daredevil. After all he is helping Daredevil to safe Elektra in Issue #190 (if I remember correctly) Fisk is smart business man and know how to get the job done without getting his own hands dirty. You could say that because of this he is more cowardly because he doesn’t do it himself).

@ VeganDiet. There is a difference between a character being black and take a former white persons costume and let a character changes color. Two different scenarios which you can’ real compare.

Heroes are criminals many of them have a bad moral compass, not just according to me, but also according to their own moral standards. Daredevil is I think the person with the worst morals in comics. “Oh buuh huuuh the court system failed, now I going to take the law in my own hands”. That said it is brilliant comic because of this fact. If you can do the crime, you can do the time.
