A Herald of Unicron, Nemesis Prime is the dark mirror of Optimus Prime, a clone imbued with many of his abilities but twisted in body and mind and lacking all moral restraint. Constructed using the bodies of KSI drones recovered from the Battle of Hong Kong and Joshua Joyce’s initial plans for Galvatron, Nemesis Prime is the culmination of years of work by a secretive terrorist organization with the goal of creating an army of transforming robots. Despite being built to be the ultimate Transformer, Nemesis Prime remained an empty shell without a spark., However, the dark god Unicron granted the lifeless Transformer a spark, turning Nemesis Prime into a living being savage and feral in nature. After being granted life, Nemesis turned on those that created him and killed them. Nemesis is an eternal servant of Unicron, which is preferable to the alternative of an existence of infinite suffering. Nemesis Prime carries the Dark Spark within him.
Bludgeon is a ferocious warrior, skilled in the ancient Cybertronian martial art of Metallikato, loyal to the Decepticon cause and armed with an ancient blade handed down from ancient times. Bludgeon’s feats in battle seem nearly supernatural, as he and his blade can cut through the battlefield as if everyone else is operating at a minimal speed setting. Utterly vicious and aloof, Bludgeon is also highly religious, adhering to an arcane code of honor. Though his beliefs fuel his single-minded bloodthirstiness with dogmatic precision, they also cause him to be rather superstitious. Bludgeon's confidence, skill, and grand words have often catapulted him to the upper ranks of the Decepticons. He often leads the Mayhem Squad and has been known to fill in as a Decepticon leader if a power vacuum presents itself. Bludgeon takes the form of a skeletal samurai. His arsenal includes his signature blade, his shield, and his high-voltage electric cannon.
The Mayhem Attack Squad, also known as Mayhem Squad, are a special task force, composed of some of the most deadly and dangerous Decepticons. The team’s lineup is ever-changing, and they try to recruit the most bloodthirsty and deadly Decepticons to swell their ranks when old members either die or desert. The team is the Decepticons equivalent to the Autobots Wreckers.
