Well, I fell one morning and hurt my back last year, I had swelling in my sacoriliac joint. Ive improved a lot since then, I used to run, lift weights and practice martial arts (capoeria) Now I do yoga, tai chi, swim (well when I go back to school Ill start swimming again) What really helped me lose weight was cutting out the sweets, and the fried junk. Ive found that I dont really miss it as much as I thought I would.
Ha Ha, your 4komas are always fun to read, also I find both versions to be equally suggestive, though the original version leaves less to the imagination.
Well, like many others, I watched a lot of the cartoons in the 90's, Spider-Man, X-Men (even though it gave me a headache) and Batman (even though it scared me a little) when I was a kid. The first comic I got was an issue of the X-Men my uncle gave me for christmas. One book I really got into was Archie's Sonic the Hedgehog, it reads like a saturday morning cartoon, and thats what I love about it. I still pick up an issue from time to time.
Ive often thought about this myself. Some of my favorite manga series ended and I didnt have a problem with it. I just moved on to another series. Sometimes I think when a series is going to end, it takes the pressure of the writers instead of dragging characters through the mud. I think it has to do with publishers being afraid of creating and marketing all new characters, they are afraid people will be turned off by them and in turn lose money. They take the addage "if it aint broke dont fix it." to a higher level.
Sometimes its just too much to try to make sense of continuity, as an X-Men with continuity all over the place, sometimes its just best to throw it out the window entirely.
For me, the worst thing about the x-men is all this confusing continuity, If I want to know what happens in uncanny, I need to read x-force, new mutants, x-factor etc. Its a major headache.
