Injustice Chapter one review 0
Looks good, this story is something that I heard so much about. I already know the basics of it, but never seen the complete development... First, the Joker murdering Jimmy is showing some serious incoming, poor Lois. And to see Superman so happy and knowing whats coming, its well started. My only negative thing to say is that I found really short the Issue, but I have been used to read only golden Age comics lately, maybe thats why. I was suppose to read from the beginning of every comics char...

At the begining Superman is once again being a little bit rough with his enemies, destroying there possessions, throwing them and eaven (accidently) killing one of them. But we finally got a villain, and at my surprise it is not Lex Luthor, but the Ultra Humanites, a character I always tought was more associated with the Flash because of the justice league cartoon on tv. So a first villain is worthing 3 stars. For the rest of the bunch, Tex, Pep and Zatara saves the day again, I'll save you the...

I have that when I red this comic the first time I ended with only one conclusion, Golden age Superman is a jerk. I mean, for improve the driving performance of the city and reduce the traffic, his solution is desrtoying almost every car in a parking and terrorising drivers, not the actual Superman ways... Other stories are again no worthy, and I can't give a good comments to nZatarra chapter this time, hated that one......

Superman is now in the oil buisness, that's the main subject of this issue. He use his own way to give a lesson to two man who kind eliminate competition in the oil industry. Once they think they got the deal of their life, Superman cancel it, in a powerfull way. It's also the first Pep Morgan story that doesn't involve him beeing winning in a sports competition, but it doesn't mean that its worth the time......

This time, Superman is playing the undercover detective cop, when after he investigate as Clark Kent, and after going in jail and make the life very difficult for the prison chief. A little bit boring in my advice, and we don't know what happen to his Clark Kent personna, because the story end so quickly. Also, Zatarra in his adventure is always encountering strange and very dangerous foes on his path, but he's so powerfull that I don't understand why he needs to complicate his way and not just...

This time, Superman must deal with a detective who solve 100% of his case, and another one who's more humble but has the same envy for glory. Wathever they try, they fell short of luck. About the other stories, the Tex Thompson one is not bad, and Zatarra haves no mercy against other evil wizard. Quality is generally good in this Issue...

This time Superman help a bunch of kids who choose the path of stealing and lowlife habits, to come back to the right way, by kicking the ass of the guy who's a bad inflence and destroy an entire neighberhood. After that everything is rebuilt and everyone is happy, not very close of the injustice story, but again, my hating... Other stories are not worthy, and their quality not always on top in this one......

Once again, only the superman story worth really youre time, but Zatarra and Marco polo story development are nice....This time superman help a circus and rescue Lois after she got held by a saboteur. It's like the story of robin origin, but nobody gets hurt in this one, even the bad guy. Quality is all right in this issue, but again too many boring episode....I keep reading Pep morgan, I don't really know why......

In this one, a man try to take advantage of superman popularity by selling interview with a fake superman. Of course, that will not pass just like it in the eyes of Lois Lane, who discover the truth and, put herself in danger in the same time.... For the other stories, Marco Polo have a interesting developping, and Zatarra have a nice adventure either. Also, good quality in this one......

In this issue, Superman save the day twice in the same evening. This story is also dedicated to the evolution of superman and Lois developing relation. Other stories of the comics are not very good, but it's not has bad like the precedant issue. Quality can be a problem for reading sometimes, and again, some of the story arc are very predictable, or simply bad......

Another strange adventure of superman, this time he force his help to a mediocre football player by taking his place, by force, and totally change the career of the guy, wich improve drasticly. Still, this issue didn't have any kind of exciting story and is a little bit long to read by moments, none of the other stories are good, even Zatarra can't save the day. ...

This time, Superman teach a lesson to rich people about safety at work for miners work... and it worked pretty good after witnessing the methods used. After reading three Action comics, I can almost find 4 similiraties of characterswith detectives comics, but with more actions... Again, Good read, but not incredible, and sometimes quality problems......

It took me two issue to realise that Superman have super powers, but cannot fly, always tought he always did. But again, that doesn't stop him to put an end to a war... Easy comic to read, but they are so many other not worthy storys, even if some can be cool, that its tough to give more than two stars at this one...

The first Superman comics ever wrote, first time we see the costume, his always very clever secret identity and his relationship with Lois. Probably a classic issue, with bad guys beeing jerks and superman teaching them a lesson after bullying his way to the senator house for saving a life... I liked this Issue also because of the introduction of another hero; Zatarra. The other story are ok at time, but not all of them worth the time.......

Like I already wrote a while ago, reading golden age comics force you a little bit to become a kid again if you want enjouy your'e read, because if you don't, you got the impression to see everything thats coming easily. The three storys of Cap were all right, but I can't really imagine that someone would have wrote a story of army scrimage sabbotage during the war, by a french Nazi.... Once again, in my opinion, other characters story won't worth your'e time......

This one is dedicated to music, two of the chapters have a musical theme for killing people: the choppin funeral march is the mark of death from the red skull, and a murderous vilonist is killing with his art by using a significant number of mesure with some help of agents...clever. There is also another vilain; the Toad, a compulsive gambler or close, don't really remenber, anyway.... At the end of the issue, you have a new superhero: Fathertime. Just looking his costume stop my interest......

First you got an evil photographer who kills people with his camera, and after you seeing cap dealing with a gang of freaky chinese who loves torures or killing people. Again, please notice the teeth of the evil characters, spectacular....I know it as something to do with the time it was writting, but I can't help myself... Kind of liked the last one concept, but the fact is that captain America is not a detective, so in the end.... ...

Fortunately for us, the U.S. army wasn't so useless against nazi spy in reality, because if they were like tey are in this comic, well our world might be very different now. I liked more the one with the big Dragon in this one, but the one with the circus mede me laugh, I mean cmon... Again good issue, probably a classic for golden age fans, but just good for me......

I noticed the fact that evil characters are big uglys in captain america comics, and it's especially the case in this one. You got a kind of medieval trip, lots of cloaked uglys and a mad scientist for closing up the deal, good storys... The chapters with other characters features doesn't worth your time in my opinion......

Kind like this one in general, principal fact that there is a vilain in almost every story of cap... The red skull returns and the mosquito killing costume is clearly a new one for me, but I won't deny the fact that I laugh the first time I saw it. But, story are really made for kids in this one, even with so many death... I suggest to not lose your'e time with the two other character at the end of the issue, not worth it......

Another entertaining issue, and again lots of action. The story against the big giants was original, and the one with white masks was good either. One thing funny with those comics is you can tell who is the vilain just by looking his face, man, those tooths... But once again, nothing more than just entertaining, nothing over the edge, sorry for the golden age fans.... oh and don't get excited because you saw Hitler on the cover, it's the only place you'll see him......

First thing I noticed is the quality of the colors of the comic, when you compare it to DC I think it's impressive (maybe it's the version I had access that wasn't very nice either.,..). In general the issue is cool. it contains the intro of cap & bucky, lots of actions, villains including the rec skull... but even if it's a golden age classic, I give it only two stars, in my opinion, chapters are too quick to read.....

Another story where man kind will be given a lesson about not let your fear get the best you and always be aware of the real danger near of us. With the classic ending: humans are not ready to possess such power, this story is all that. Still, good quality and an entertaining time. For the doctor Droom story, I can't believe a derrick can prevent so much trouble. ...

The thing is traveling in the past in the prehistoric age is a wonderfull adventure, but we had plenty of different version of the event over the year so not that impress. And the character Cro mess with history, but that's probably just me. One thing I didn't mention yet is that the adventure comics series have nice drawings and good colors quality if I compare to pass review I did. The doctor Droom story is not good......

I would say this one is OK because it's a quick reading, to be honest I'm just reading this series because it's the one who brought spider-man. For the issue content, the Manoo story is all right but not necessarly worthing your'e time, and the Doctor Droom against Atlantis is a little strange, I honnestly never imagined Atlantis like that......

The story of Torr is a classic scenario of an Alien agent preparing an inavsion... The way it start makes it interesting, but it's just too quick to developp and between me and you, Torr would probably be more efficient by keeping is original form, like the cover of the issue suggest it. Doctor Droom is probably the first step of the creation of Doctor Strange...Nice and easy quick reading, only 25 pages, enjoyable at some points, but not a lot. ...

The second part of the story of Batman against the Monk is a little bit confusing and though to follow. But, you need to put yourself in the context, 1939, wich means no joker yet.... so the kind of vilain he'll face, and the plot in general as nothing to do with what we been used the last 40 years. To prove my saying, he used a gun in that issue. For the other stories, Bruce Nelson chapter is almost unreadable due to the poor quality of the writtings. The Slam Bradley chapter is entertaining o...

Hypnotizing, werewolf, vampires, a vilain named the Monk, even a great Ape... wow, Batman had to deal with a lot in this one. Still, liked to read it, was good. But, quality took a step beck in this issue, mostly for the quality of image, for some of the chapters. There is a drop of a star for this one, and that's because Batman could not help the fact that every other story were very bad, one star without him....

Doctor Death is already back. Batman, once again in detective comics, outsmart his opponents by let them think they are succeeding in their schemes... Quality of images and writtings is improved from the latest, and the other storys where ok. No Crimson avenger this time, guess he wasn't able to compete with the immediate popularity of Batman....

I can't hide the fact that I was surprise to learn that the first real super vilain Batman encounter wasn't the Joker or any other common characters we have been used to see....no it is the Doctor Death, who I never heard about before. Still, good story, with the little dark side that comes with Batman. Surprsingly, most of the other chapter of the issue were better than it used to be.......

This is another example of why Batman is always the best, he always have a plan and he's always a couple move ahead from anyone else. This chapter, even if quick was good, and I don't care if you saying the plot is predictable, it's batman. The issue bring again difficulties with the writtings, but it's not a big quality problem. Got to give some points to the Slam Bradley chapter.......

The Batman is the best, period. Trust me, when you red all the previous issue, you are more than happy to finally see a him arrive in the mix. And he goes up against a vilain too, not a common ending however. Because of him, the other storys are not very good, wich make them not really worth you're time. But just because of Batman I got to give four stars. Quality was sometimes a problem on this one, writtings are though to read sometimes....

The squad of painting action or murderess situation was pretty funny, especially when against who their perform their sinister art. Sometimes I got the feelings that sports sabotage is the only realistic thing in detective comics, and I stop thinking like that and reminder Superman powers... Good issue, but the wait and patience are finally over, and my habit of you got to start from the first ever written and keep going in order will finally be rewarded next issue.Best Story: Slam Bradley...

Another bunch of quick resolve case and predictable murderer. But I got give credits to the Crimson Avenger story, it was better than the ones who precede and had a nice way to ''fix'' the problem of the plane sabotage. This one have a mix of a lot of different theme; Football, mad scientist, time traveling and also a very, lets say unusual manner to murder someone, just look at the cover of the comic... Except for the Cosmo chapter, quality is very good, but not the plot so it's a two star score again. Best story: Speed Saunders, because of the weapon......

I got say I'm a little bit surprise by the Crimson Avenger, and not a goodly. I was happy to finally see a superhero in costume after those readings, and I don't get it, none of his stories made any sense to me, and the development is always tough to understand. For the rest, it's as usual, no real surprise... Good quality however, nice colors for almost every chapters.Best story: Slam Bradley...

The Crimson Avenger makes his debut to detective comics, we have our first super hero...and nothing else to say. Does anyone understand or see any logic in the fact that Slam Bradley is a super talented magician, but never used his magic power before... I liked for a rare time the ''suspense'' in the Buck Marshall story, even if it's not an incredible one.Best story: Speed Saunders...

For once, no disappointment in the ending of the Bruce Nelson case. Also liked the Larry Steele and Speed Saunders chapters, the one with Speed was unpredictable for the main criminal, and the trickery used by the gang was a good idea. Was also funny to see Slam Bradley battle against enraged apes, you got the feeling his next adventure will explore almost every kind of thematic possible.Best story: Spy & Bruce Nelson...
