The Hulk along with those affected by gamma radiation have been banished to the planet Sakaar. Bruce and his son Skaar must now contend not only with the wrongs of their past but deal with the present danger on a planetary scale.
Despite his efforts of reform and rehabilitation, Emil has been pushed into a corner where the world will only see him as a monster. When Emil is banished to Sakaar, the Oldstrong power begins to call to him and brings out the ferocious nature of the Abomination.
Hiro-Kala is Skaar's half brother. Hiro learned from his mother Caiera and uncle Hiroim on how to tap into the Oldstrong Power of any planet. Even though Skaar possesses their father's incredible strength, Hiro has the immeasurable intellect of Bruce Banner which makes him unrelenting and cunning.
Caiera and the Hulk fought in the Contest of Champions when the Grnadmaster presided over Sakaar but when Caiera became enthralled by the Hulk, she had chosen her mate. When the Grandmaster learned of Caiera's conception, he had her banished back to the planet of her people so she could not entice the Hulk to abandon the games in order to raise their child.
Jarella was a visiting diplomat from the planet Kai who was invited by the Grandmaster to attend the Contest of Champions. When Jarella saw the Hulk take down the Bi-Beast, she became enamored by the green brute. Jarella managed to sneak into Hulk's quarters for a lustful rendezvous. Afterwards, Jarella fled back to her planet when she learned of what the Grandmaster had done to Caiera when she became pregnant with Hulk's child. Jarella named her son Skaar in honor of the planet where she met the Hulk.
Visalia is Jarella's envious cousin. Visalia orchestrated Jarella's assassination and had Skaar banished from the planet Kai.
Visis was the planet Kai's war-master and Skaar's teacher. When Visalia orchestrated a coup on her cousin Jarella, it was Visis' task to eliminate his prize pupil. Visis could not carry out the order and instead bated Skaar into killing him.
Psyklop is the hive mind of the insectoids on the planet Sakaar.
Mung was once Miek's mate until Psyklop took command of the insectoid race on Sakaar. Mung now only answers to the will of Psyklop.

Angmo-Asan is the ambitious grandson of Uthana-Thoth. Angmo sees himself becoming the next Red King when Uthana is dethroned or preferably killed.
Omaka-Asan is Angmo's sister and is favored by her grandfather Uthana-Thoth.
Uthana-Thoth is Angmo and Omaka's grandfather. Thoth is the leader of Ano-Athox, a race of ravenous world eaters who seek out planets that are teeming with the Oldstrong, a power than can make and destroy worlds in the blink of any eye.
