For the fourth or fifth time, the chalkboards started years ago in 52, long before Marvel's "timeline." If people can't bother to read something other than one company, can't they at least read the previous comments in the thread?

Hey... just realized they're both at Image now (well, it's been a couple years for the Body Baggers). That would make a pretty sweet crossover. ..

It's "Hack/Slash" versus "Body Bags!"  Cassie and Vlad are on the hunt for a slasher in Terminus, Georgia. Meanwhile, Panda and Clownface have been hired to do the same. The two meet up in a school gym at night. Each one assumes the other side's big scary masked guy with sharp objects is the slasher (an honest mistake if you think about it) and it's fight time! Lad has his cleavers and Clownface has his knives. Cassie has a baseball bat. Panda has a shotgun but it jammed earlier so she is using it as a club. Both sides have "morals" on... which really isn't saying much with this bunch.  Battle is too the death or at least painfully maimed and bludgeoned.

You pretty much nailed the logic errors I have with the whole anti-mutant feeling. Regular supes are fine but not mutants. And actually mutants are fine if they hang with regular supes. The most obvious case is the Beast. When he was more human looking in the early days of X-Men and X-Factor, he was one of the dreaded muties. But the more inhuman blue furry Beast in the Avengers had no such problems. And really, in the real world, any group that isolates itself and secretly trains children to become paramilitary soldiers is gonna inspire some uneasy feelings that just can't be written off as prejudice.

I'm holding the faintest hope that this will lead to the return of Kendra, the only Hawkgirl that matters. And with her pre-Chaykin bust size.

So Tony can design an armor that can stop the world's most dangerous villain but not a condom that can keep his little Starks at bay. And ya know, 35 actually seems young for Tony and not just because Downey is ten years old than that. He's one of the Marvel Age's earliest heroes and was an industrialist with government connections when he debuted. He seemed older than your average mid-twenties hero then and years of "Marvel time" have passed since. I've just pictured him sorta like Green Arrow... in his early 40's, which makes both their womanizer acts a little sad and thus more human.

One thing I've wondered about the Cube as it pertains to Cap and the Winter Soldier... the Cube responds to the thoughts and wishes of the wielder. So even though Steve said "remember who you are," couldn't the Cube latch on to Steve wanting the Winter Soldier to be Bucky and alter reality to fulfill that? Or at the very least craft a more idealized persona for Bucky instead of that of the kid that did Cap's dirty work behind his back?

Yeah, but we saw what happened when that authority is given to the wrong person like Osborn. Cage is in charge now but the political winds seem to shift pretty quick in the Marvel Universe. On the other hand, the Secret Six have an excellent ethical barometer. Basically they' have no delusions about their own amorality so if they think someone is bad then they know they're really bad.

Summer Glau and Randall the Crotch Punching Dwarf? This might be the greatest show ever...
