Young Justice Will Kick Ass

I wish I was at New York Comic con.

In an article by IGN, IGN get a look behind the show Young Justice. Article here:  http://tv.ign.com/articles/112/1126674p1.html

In the article, it goes in to questions and answers about what Young Justice will be about:

-- The Justice League aren't in the show "a lot a lot." Batman is around to hand out missions and Red Tornado is kind of like the kids' den mother, while Black Canary is in charge of training them.
-- Captain Marvel will hang around with the group since he's secretly a 10-year-old kid.
-- "Secrets and lies" will be a big part of the show. The Justice League is keeping secrets from Young Justice. The kids are keeping secrets from each other, and even from themselves.
-- Dick Grayson's identity is secret, though he does tell Kid Flash. But don't tell Batman that he did.
-- Will we see Wondergirl or Captain Marvel Jr.? The producers are staying quiet now, but you can expect over 150 DC universe characters to show up in the first 18 episodes alone.
-- Speedy's membership in the group is unclear. "Watch the first episode."
-- Going with Wally and Dick was in keeping with the whole concept of portraying the early years of the DC world.
-- The show will be dark, but also expect a lot of humor and romance. Joss Whedon's work is a big influence.
-- There is "tremendous significance" to the ice theme of the villains in the clips screened.
-- There are no embargoes from the studio on any characters, though at the beginning of the series there were four characters they couldn't use. That's no longer the case.
-- The producers heavily hinted that the Wonder Twins might show up.
-- Jay Garrick will show up, meaning that there was a Golden Age of superheroes in this world.
-- Characters will age.
-- The producers have great hopes for the toys, bed sheets, talking banks and so on that will be based on the series.
-- The technology won't be too far advanced beyond what exists in reality.

A preview of Young Justice is due to premiere next month, while the season premiere will be around January next year. What are you guys thoughts?  I was already hyped up about it when I heard about this show at Comic Con, and I'm even more hyped now. Greg Wesiman did a spectacular job on The Spectacular Spider-man and I can wait to see how this show comes about.

Star Wars Legacy-War

I love Star Wars Comics.....well the good titles that is. When I heard that Star Wars Legacy was ending (last issue is coming out this month), I was greatly disappointed to hear that another great Star Wars series was ending. Its like with Knights of the Old Republic. SO MUCH POTENTIAL.
This is old news, but I just found out about it recently. Although Legacy is ending, in December,  John Ostrander and Jan Duursema is working together once again to bring in a six-issue miniseries titled: Star Wars Legacy: War.

Yeah. S**t just got real now.
Yeah. S**t just got real now.
In an interview with MTV, John Ostrander and Jan Duursema give out some details on this upcoming series.

Now in recent events in Legacy, Darth Krayt, AKA, A'Sharad Hett, just returned from the dead. Hopefully, in the last issue, we might get a glimpse of what he has in store for the galaxy.

You can’t keep a bad Sith down!
Darth Krayt has returned from the “dead,” stronger, more evil, and more determined than ever to crush the galaxy under his heel. With Emperor Roan Fel’s Imperials, the Galactic Alliance, the Jedi, and even some of his own Sith followers arrayed against him, Krayt would seem overmatched—but his enemies have not reckoned with the power of the dark side!
If Cade Skywalker was ever going to run from his legacy, now would be the time!

What do you guys think? I, for one, CANNOT WAIT.

EDIT: Another interview with John Ostrander from IGN:

Hawkgirl and Deadshot to appear on Smallville

Apparently, they are trying to make the last season of Smallville filled with all sorts of superheroes and villains.

On KryptonSite.com, reports are saying that Hawkgirl and Deadshot are to appear in the second episode titled "Shield", of the 10th and final season of Smallville.
http://www.kryptonsite.com/shayera.htm
The actress who's playing Hawkgirl, aka Shayera, is Sahar Biniaz, a beauty pageant who also had minor roles in Smallville before  ("Fierce," "Identity," and "Crossfire") and the flim, Watchmen (a newscaster). Deadshot, is being played by Bradley Stryker, who did some episodes in Stargate universe and was the older brother of Ryan in Fox series, The O.C (good show btw).
Michael Shanks who played Hawkman in season 9 of Smallville in the tv movie, Absolute Justice and the season finale of season 9, will also make an appearance in the episode.

 Here's Deadshot!
 Here's Deadshot!

If you may recall in Absolute Justice, Carter (Hawkman) said that Hawkgirl was killed in the battle of the first Icicle villain. So this may be an episode with flashbacks of Hawkgirl appearing. And wait, isn't Deadshot a villain of Batman? It might be interesting to see him take on Clark if he finds out Clark's weakness. Or maybe he's after Hawkman?
Either way, what do you guys think?

Street fighter X Tekken/ Tekken X Street fighter in the works

WELLL, The rumors were true.
Yoshinori Ono and Katsuhiro Harada are working together to make two different crossovers: Street fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street fighter
At comic-con, Capcom showed a trailer and gameplay of Capcom's version of Street Fighter vs Tekken.

http://gamevideos.1up.com/video/id/30596

From Kotaku:

Street Fighter X Tekken appears to feature Street Fighter IV's gameplay mechanics, locked onto a 2D plane, with both Tekken and Street Fighter characters performing EX-style super moves. The match started off with Ryu versus Kazuya Mishima, but Ono and Harada tagged in two more characters, Street Fighter's Chun-li and Tekken's Nina Williams. Ryu deployed his trademark fireball Ultra move, with Kazuya later following that up with his spinning electrified uppercut.

 Yea, hard to believe.
 Yea, hard to believe.

Well, what do you guys and girls think?  I haven't heard much about Namco's version other than it will be the style of Tekken, with contestants fighting in a 3D arena. There's no annouce date for both of them as Marvel vs Capcom 3 is in the talks these days.

God hates Nerds

May God have mercy on our souls.
May God have mercy on our souls.
According to Westboro Baptist Church, comics are a bad thing! Forgive me Father for I have sinned.  They say:

Are you kidding?! If these people would spend even some of the energy that they spend on these comic books, reading the Bible, well no high hopes here. They have turned comic book characters into idols, and worship them they do! Isaiah 2:8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made: 9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not. It is time to put away the silly vanities and turn to God like you mean it. The destruction of this nation is imminent - so start calling on Batman and Superman now, see if they can pull you from the mess that you have created with all your silly idolatry.

So what do you sinners think? Are we damned?

Supergirl will return for Season 10 Smallville

http://tv.ign.com/articles/110/1105859p1.html

Wow. After the announcement that  John Schneider was returning to play Jonathan Kent in the first episode of the 10th and final season of Smallville, from IGN, Laura Vandervoort will return to play Kara aka. Supergirl in the final season. She hasn't shown up since season 8 and Vandervoot is now in a role in ABC's series V.
Could she wear her costume as well?

All there is to do now is get Michael Rosenbaum to come back to play Lex Luthor again. EVEN IN ONE EPISODE would be great.
Come on Rosenbaum. You know you want to.

Comic-con is around the corner, so he might make an appearance.
