@black_wreath: It was hard, alright... I prefer Roman Reigns's boring promo than this tbh
Begins isn't a good movie, it's not a bad movie, it is--I'm just kidding, it sucked. Even TDKR was better, and that was such a mediocre film. Tbh, Nolan's entire trilogy is overrated. His fanboys are almost as condescending as Grant Morrison's.
Outdated cultural beliefs that women cannot have sex for any other purpose aside from procreation. Like drug usage, prostitution should be made legal and thoroughly regulated.
@dngn4774: standing out /= good. Boring or not thats what she's supposed to be.
Not really. Part of the reason I like Powergirl more than Supergirl is that by and large, she's not involved with the Superman. Connor Kent was at his most interesting when he was on Geoff John's Titans, PG did awesome with Tara and the JSA and Kara was at her most interesting when she was involved with the Legion. That's not a coincidence. The reason most of the superfamily shines away from Metropolis is because it's impossible to be valued by fans when a character who has all of the same powers but is better than you is also in the book. Unlike street level characters, where each person has their own skills that can contribute to the team, kryptonians have roughly all of the same powers. DC is a gigantic universe. I'd rather see a writer fail making these characters interesting in another part of the universe than succeed at making them boring sidekicks to Superman.
@scouterv: Laurel is missed because she became the voice of reason character when the writers imploded on Olicity. Part of the reason she is liked, especially after the rehab angle, was that she incorporated the most likeable traits of the supporting characters without the other character's flaws coming into play. If you merged all of team arrow together and took away Thea's random plot drama, Ollie's self-hatred, Felicity's self-righteousness, and Diggle's blandness, you'd get Laurel Lance.
