At least 80% of the people hating on Bendis in this thread will go out and buy his comics next Wednesday.

Exactly! Their are way to many hypocrite comic book fans.

I don't think this makes them hypocrites. Bendis is writing too much for someone to be a fan and read Marvel comics an avoid his books at the same time. Almost all the important events in the Marvel Universe happen in the books he's writing.

Personally I have no problem with Bendis like others do but then again I don't usually read the comics he writes. So I don't get how people can hate his work and still buy it since I'll drop a comic if I don't like the writer or where the series is heading. The argument about staying up to date with events in the marvel universe really doesn't have any weight for me since you can always just wait to the events are over and pick up the series again. I mean if you are actually dreading reading comics he writes why in the hell would you pay for them since its bringing you no enjoyment? You can always get a subscription to marvel's digital service to catch up on past events if they mean so much without having to pay for a few issues written by a writer you don't like.

Why else would people buy something they continuously say they hate?

You can buy the comics he writes but if your doing it solely for staying on top of events happening in the marvel universe and constantly whine about those events and the writer than that does make those individuals hypocrites.

Did you miss the part in the interview where he said:

" AE: Honestly? I'd like it to be known for being good. And for being open for readers from the whole spectrum of people who like comics. I mean, I'm aware that I'm aiming to recreate some fecund drive-in pit of the imagination, and I've gone and used words like sleaze in a positive context earlier in this very interview, but... even when - in my capacity as The Yorkshire Fellini - I'm writing about improperly-dressed assassins going sickhouse on the collective ass of all that is right and proper, I still want to write a comic that anybody can pick up and find something they like in. "

That's not going to happen and me, you, and the writer of this series already know that. You can't have a comic that reaches across the whole spectrum of people its just not going to happen and not everyone will enjoy this type of comic.

@FoxxFireArt: @NyxEquitis: @rico_3088: @iLLituracy: @Joygirl: @moywar700: I take it you all have never watched a Roger Corman or Russ Meyer movie or similar then? Look this whole comic is basically exploitation films. This comic is not suppose to be about a great stories its about outragous violence, sex, drugs, outlandish behavior, and most of all sleaze and filth. If you all ever watched something like White Mama Black Mama, Ilsa She Wolf of the SS, Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens, etc. then you know what to expect.

Here are some videos of exploitation movies to give you all an idea of what to expect.

Or as the writer said in another interview

"Ninjettes is where I get to look at some of the classic exploitation tropes," says writer Al Ewing. "Hopefully I will twist them into something that appeals to a broad spectrum of readers, while remaining a rich, raw, red slab of bleeding meat torn straight from the mooing flank of pop culture, given a gun and told to go out and kill! Kill! KILL!"

If you still don't get it well maybe the image below might help you get the idea

No Caption Provided

Essentially that is what exploitation movies are if your a fan. They are so damn horrible that they end up actually being good. Which is what the writer is trying to do with this series.

Personally I'm looking forward to this series since exploitation movies especially the WIP ones do need to make another come back!

Not always a lot people make a comment about some other post without directly quoting it like you did.

Because I was responding to the main topic.

And i'm not going to sit here and play this child game with you.

Good day =]

You claim I'm playing a childish game yet your post shows you acting like a child yourself especially the part where you say "good day." That's the pot calling the kettle black.

Anyway, I'm done with this thread and this will be my last comment on this topic.

@cody1984: Rule of thumb here, if someone posts the Bat Kick, they're joking.

Dude I've seen people post that same exact scan and seriously believe batman is capable of doing that.

I would like to talk to these people, because they must write the world's best fan-fiction.

Hang out in the battle forums and you will see it after awhile.

It's one of several reasons why I don't check the battle forums out much anymore.

@Kallarkz: Because batman is supposed to be human and not have superpower that is why. It's one thing to have him be able to make the best freerunners on earth look like amateurs and be able to do a world record dead lift without much difficultly several times but catching a bullet fired from a gun is definitely a superhuman feat which is something batman shouldn't be capable of doing being that he is not superhuman.

Read the opening sentence and then my response.

At what point are we discussing superhuman abilities or feats.

Maybe since you stated

why do people always just to fit real world logic into comic book logic?

Right after I stated batman catching bullets is BS perhaps?

Yeah usually when people are directly responding to another post in a thread they quote them.

As we are doing now.

Not always a lot people make a comment about some other post without directly quoting it like you did.
