- To be honest, the X-Men are no longer a handful of teams with field leaders reporting to Xavier, they are a society and it needs to be run reflecting that change. If it were up to me neither would be in charge in the sense

- Decisions need to be made by a group that represents the mutant community, and not Cyclops and whomever he decides is worth listening to. If for example a group of 7 were to be the "Mutant Executive Commitee" it should be voted on by the residents of Utopia. Each of these reps would manage a specific function, they would decide on matters that fall under their authority, but all major decisions are decided by all. (I still think living on Utopia is insane, but I'm assuming its not changing for this example)

- The job is too big for one person no matter who you like, and the idea that the masses should just do what they are told and like it is a joke. The society needs to choose what peers it wants to represent them, and therefore decide the direction of the X-Men by whom they put in charge.

- In this scenario it's almost assured that both would be voted in and would be able to focus on what they are good at as well as removing any tension that comes when one person can decide the fate of a nation with no checks and balances.

I got to agree with this. The dictatorship thing cyclops has got going on isn't going to work and if they want to have their own nation they need to create an actual government.

It's a great series but is light when it comes to action unlike most comics. That's one of the reasons why I like the series though I can see how that turns people off.

You were quick as hell putting up Cristu Bulat because I only recently added the character to this site.

The reason behind it never made any sense to me...it was just marvel trying to throw him into the major event to boost sales.
It worked for other characters.

Those other characters weren't the Punisher though. The Punisher kills his enemies and tends not to like superheroes and they tend not to like him either.

My point with that is the Punisher shouldn't have even gotten involved.
I understand that but considering the circumstances I can see why it happened. Cap and Tony were both playing dirty.

And the Punisher shouldn't have cared about their conflict at all.

Anyway were going off topic here if you want to continue this send me a PM.

Then i'd like to see how Storm can change The Punisher's view/principle. : )

Considering Captain America, Daredevil, Spiderman, Wolverine, Moon Knight, etc. have tried to talk the Punisher into giving up his ways or at the very least toning them down and the fact they have failed at doing so I can't imagine anything storm would say to the Punisher that would get him to stop or even to tone it down.

Not trying to dis on storm, the avengers, or X-Men because while not a fan I think their alright but...isn't this just getting a bit ridiculous? I mean almost everyone has been a member of the avengers...hell event the Punisher was a member of the secret avengers during Civil War for christ sake. Now storm actually does make some sense being on the avengers but their are a few things that annoy me here...isn't she still with the X-Men? I don't know about everyone else but characters being a multiple teams I always find to be rather dumb. Another major problem I have is couldn't someone just come up with a new character to join the avengers? You know...maybe show some creativity instead of just grabbing every character in the marvel universe and making them an avenger just to try and boost sales? Crazy thoughts I know I'm just throwing my two cents out there for whatever it's worth.

Pretty much everyone who wasn't registered was a Secret Avenger but I don't think they actually count as a team. The current Secret Avengers are the only actual "Secret Avengers".

My point with that is the Punisher shouldn't have even gotten involved. The reason behind it never made any sense to me...it was just marvel trying to throw him into the major event to boost sales. As far as whether or not the secret avengers during civil war were a team or not goes...they were dubbed that by the media and did fight and work together. This site also lists the secret avengers origin being the civil war anti-registration forces. So as far as them not being team or not goes that's really a question to bring up in the editing and tools forum.

@cody1984: Did you have a prob with Wolverine joining the avengers? I mean they could have gone with anyone, but they chose Storm. I agree with you her resume makes her more than qualified to be on the team, considering some others who have come before her. I think its exciting and glad Storm is getting the recognition she finally deserves.

Yes I thought wolverine joining the avengers was retarded...I won't even comment about my feelings of the Punisher being an avenger either since that would be a really long nasty rant. Its nothing against Storm but I think a character should only be on one team at a time. If they join another team they should should have to quit the other one. That's just my opinion...for whatever its worth I think she makes more sense being an avenger then Wolverine does.

No I actually agree with you about the team thing. But if Deadpool and wolverine can be everywhere, I don't see why Storm can't/

Them being everywhere is the reason why I don't read comics with them in it since its pointless to try and follow their activities since they are all over the place and shouldn't be. They should fill their roles on a team and have their own book but that's where it should end...although that's just my own personal view and since I don't run marvel I can't do anything about it other then not support those characters by not spending my money on their books.
