This sparked an intense hero worship of the Hulk in Amadeus, and when Hulk returned from being shot into space, Amadeus defended him with an almost irrational belief in the Hulk's heroism. In the end, his beliefs were shaken to the core when the Hulk really did come close to killing everyone, and Amadeus found a new hero in Hercules. Despite his shaken beliefs about the Hulk, Amadeus never stopped being a loyal ally to both the Hulk and Bruce Banner.
