Brief History

Gamma Base was built on the site of Project Greenskin Base: Hulkbuster Base (the base for the Hulkbusters) after the base was destroyed by the Soviet agent Devastator. The US Government reopened the base with an emphasis on studying gamma technology, christening it "Gamma Base." It was opened again for Bruce Banner's Project: Hulkbuster. When that group broke up, it was shut down again. Once again it was re-opened for the use of Operation: Zero Tolerance and was located in New Mexico, these facilities served as prison for Charles Xavier, after Onslaught, and during Operation: Zero Tolerance it held the X-Men: Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine, Phoenix, Cannonball and Jubilee. It was operated under Bastion´s orders.
