@erik: Maybe for the first one, but I wasn't so blatant as to just say "you're stooooooopid!"
Way to not answer my question though.
@jaken7: when I say you, I am talking about the logic you are currently representing. Not literally that you personally are the reason people pointed this out. And I am not saying you are making a sept 11 reference, I am saying you are making the September 11th event the reference. September 11th is a date, while what happened on sept 11th is an event. You are comparing a date to an event, not a date to another date. What I find disheartening is that you take special offense to an innocent poster that references a date where an event happened like 13 years ago. And this poster somehow causes people distress is idiotic in my mind. People died in the twin towers, but what makes their death any more important than the thousands of other people that die every day? Why shouldn't we take special offense to any date mentioned since it might remind people of when their loved ones could have died? This movie isn't only going to show in America, it is a world wide movie.
@cable_extreme: Mmkay, guy.
@jaken7: is that it? You can't have a conversation? You just refuse to talk to someone who has a differing opinion?
@cable_extreme: -_-
I've been talking to you and other people with differing opinions for the past 5 hours. I have a headache and I need to get ready to go to the movies. Sorry for not humoring your latest circle back to square 1.
@jaken7: apology accepted
@cable_extreme: Heh.
@jayc1324: I lol'ed
@jaken7: it isn't insensitive, nor offensive. What is offensive is that you place more value in the lives lost on that date than the ones that die every day.
@erik: Just because the same 4 people keep saying it isn't offensive or insensitive doesn't make that the general consensus. Check the first page again.
Just because the same 1 person keeps saying it is offensive or insensitive, doesn't make it so. Check the rest of the internet. No one really gives a hoot. It's a case of the squeaky wheel.
Imo an exploding building is just an exploding building. Not everything that blows up has to be directly linked to a national tragedy, considering things blow up all the time in all forms of media.
*Slaps*

Its mainly becuase its on 9/11 that makes people overreact which isnt right but if it was on pretty much any other day i doubt they would have took the poster down.
@thecheesestabber: thinks to myself
*what she doesn't know is that I'm into being slapped*
@humanrocket: Oh I know
*Wink* :3
@thecheesestabber: Oh crap thought you were a dude with that name :P though I must ask, what do you have against Cheese? Cheese rocks!
@cable_extreme: When did I say or imply such a thing? I'm offended that you would assume that's something I would feel. Yay offended game!
@thecheesestabber: Oh crap thought you were a dude with that name :P though I must ask, what do you have against Cheese? Cheese rocks!
Ask me in the Ask CheeseStabber Thread it needs a bump :P
@erik: Or you're just latching onto people who share your opinion and ignoring everyone else.
In any case, it doesn't matter. I find it insensitive. End o' story.
Another lie. Starting to see a trend. You get proven wrong, so you make up garbage.
You can look up any article on it that has a comment section and see that people mostly are telling guys like you to stop looking for something to cry about.
@jaken7: the fact that you are making a big deal about sept 11 and not every movie poster that has any date.
@humanrocket: Oh I know
*Wink* :3
@cable_extreme: Because 9/11 was a horrific tragedy that affected me as a child and completely changed the course of America.
But next time 9/11 comes up, you go ahead and walk around looking for people in remembrance and tell them "lol! Sh!t don't even matter! People die every day! You're just a bunch of pr!cks who put those people's lives lower than the 9/11 victims."
@jaken7: why the hostility? Why are you telling me to be offensive? What is wrong with you lately?
@cable_extreme: How is defending myself the same as being hostile? I didn't tell you to do anything you aren't already doing to me. Don't know what you mean.
Is this really worth making a big deal out of?
it's not,unless these people are making a big deal about EVERYTHING, every gun shot in movies, every explosion, everything indicating something bad will happen...so pretty much the plot of an action movie....then i'd understand, but people usually pick and choose what is offensive and what isnt
