Champions Of Peace- Avalon Moon base (Team/location thread)

The Lockharts are a very powerful family, and the reason for that is because they are very brilliant people. When forming the Champions of Peace they planned for everything that they could think of happening. There was even a few secrets that they kept from the whole team, and would wait to reveal them only when the time was needed. With them leaving the team along with Eclipse they put trusted members in their place of leadership. Being the closest to Cellphone Girl they decided that she would be the holder of their secret plans. The first one had been revealed during the destruction of Champion Island. She told the team and the citizens of the Island that this whole time there was a hidden base on the moon, which would soon be there new home.

Big Sister

Building Investigative Graphic Searching Internet System Transferring Exact Recognizance was what Andromeda wanted to call it. Thankfully her new partner in managing the computers and electronics Victoria Windsor however suggested using its acronym, Big Sister.

This room is a massive half dome layered with computers and holographic projectors. These projectors can change the size of its screen as needed. This allows a user to manage the computer as just that, or project large intricate images of locations and files. In the center of the room is a hologram emitting table. When wanted or needed this machine projects a miniaturized fully detailed model replica of the desired location. The images are almost always complete, not missing a single passage. Each tile of the floor can move automatically to present a chair as well. So that meetings can be held with ease within this room as needed.

Of course holograms and comfortable seating is not the central purpose of this large room. Each computer is a hybrid of technology acquired from the various geniuses and discoveries that have been presented to the Champions over the years. The computers are capable of hacking most firewalls not founded by other geniuses with ease. The files on each computer have formed a complex search engine that scavenged a long list of reliable sights and sources. Allowing them to present nearly everything one might ever want on the search. Using contracts with others and complex software the computers are also tapped into many of the satellites around earth. This allows for a constant overwatch so that hopefully the Champions can respond to a threat almost instantaneously.

Big sister was meant for more than just simple overwatch duties however and the site itself is a hive of rooms designed to house the team and their needs safely in it’s inhospitably environment. The main chamber is connected to three other domes via pressurized dual layer walk ways, one path above the surface for everyday use. But also one below as a backup safety route in case of failure of the main path.

Biosphere Domes

The domes being the hubs on the location each with a specific use

Dome one is dedicated to housing the teams (bedrooms, offices, mess hall and bathrooms) segregated rooms each with their own environmental controls in order to minimise multiple casualties in case of computer hub failure focused around a central eating/lounge area.

Dome two, the equipment and weapon storage/ access to external brig facility) Contains specialist equipment for rescues/ exploration and personal safety in a sealed room access only permitted to team leaders for safety and to trace movement of equipment easier.

Dome Three The work hub of the station containing the meeting room, Halberd and reflection room. Used primarily for operation’s briefing, observation and training.

Dome four Teleporter room and Vehicle access/docking station. The transport hub containing hover bikes, teleporter pad’s and an emergency life-raft vessel.

Halberd

Holographic Aggressive Level Building Enemy Replicating Den or Halberd for short. This room does exactly as the name implies using a complex computer system it projects a consistent holographic location. Being the length of a football field and almost equal height as its length this room can accurately replicate most locations and environments. And using a weather simulator and temperature controls can make the location unfathomably realistic. Its primary focus though is in generating intricate replicas of situations and enemies a Champion has encountered. Drom went so far as to build an A.I with a upgrading and updating simulation of an opponent. So that while it will never be exactly like the target it at least comes as close as possible.

We at the COP’s have suffered time and time again for you and when the time came to help us, when the citizens of our Island where massacred our “allies” where not to be found. Yet when your countries and people are in harm’s way you call to us and we answer. We do it without asking for anything in return but now the time has come for us to re-home ourselves and we are taking what we need.
To those of you who had claims for the territories of the moon, your claims are no longer valid. The moon belongs to the Champions of peace. You may send envoys to reclaim your equipment from our surface, you have 6 months then it will destroyed.”

Why is the flag, the symbol of mankind's crowning glory and single greatest achievement; the one thing that every human on earth agrees was something we can all be proud of, considered INfamous? And why would anyone in their right mind piss on Neil Armstrong's grave with that kind of desecration? That's not something a hero does, that's something a cartoonish supervillain does to give NASA the middle finger.

Damn. COPs on some big brother type sh*t. Sound outright devilish. Also I think no one country could have claims on the moon. Public, or something.
 
I'm kinda mean, though, so I guess I'm all for it. Though I'll be keeping tabs for if I start deciding to do bad deeds in my spare time.

A specific treaty forbids any and all claiming of any territory in space by any body, governmental or corporate; not of this Earth. Same goes for Antarctica. Of course; anyone who really expects that treaty to hold when the need for more resources and space becomes really pressing is an idealistic idiot.

@Amaranth_Strix Needed a metaphor to show the no claim for the moon was still valid. it was the flag or the module that had to go. And the flag is still in space its not destroyed or anything.

In the future a PM with any issues you have would be preferred rather than an attempt of creating drama in the thread. I have nothing but respect for the scientists and astronauts of the space program, however the writing in this section isn't based in reality and connections between the two are made entirely buy the individual. And since i wrote it i can say it has 100% nothing to do with any of that, as far as Main U canon goes i don't remember it being stated who got to the moon first of planted a flag. The only ascpect from reality was that NASA got their first (which i put in canon by that post) anything else isn't canon since is unestablished.

You describing him as infamous (a wholly infamous term) means you're equating Neil Armstrong to bastards like Hitler and Cortes, casting Armstrong to be a villain is the same kind of wrong that rewriting Hitler to be the heroic savior of the Earth is. A proper hero would show him some respect and enshrine it, rather than more or less destroy it and effectively piss on the ashes of the deceased while simultaneously flipping the bird to every space program ever. Any one wants to make a claim they can, since most people don't use prime ,so i find that unlikely. But i would welcome it.
