Sounds cool but Batman v Superman: World's Finest what have been better IMHO. I always felt like this started as a Man of Steel 2 and just change into a new movie all together. Like in the comics. you have Superman, World's Finest, Batman, Justice League, etc. Hope that's what they are going for because the most any character should get in another character movie is a cameo where he isn't too out shined or over shadowed.

To be fair most people would not recognize Worlds Finest.

Unlike some of the very slow people here, I'm not going to get hung up on a movie title. I got more important things to worry about. The movie will be awesome.

As much as us nerds would have loved to see it titled "World's Finest", that wouldn't have been a good decision. Nobody knows what "World's Finest" means, the title of "Batman vs Superman" alone is going to bring in a ton of viewers.

They could do Batman/Superman: World's Finest, thats the point Dawn of Justice is so generic and it doesn't get excused because it is a JL prequel.

I really wished that didn't go for the Batman vs. Superman thing, even with just "v" between the names. Even before announcing the official title, non-comic book readers were saying that it's batman versus superman, now that's stupid. It's going to continue having that perception from the regular movie Batman fans.

Just call it Dawn of Justice with that emblem. Really, it gets the message across. Everyone knows the Bat-emblem and the Superman S.

That aside, I can't wait to see more about this film looks great. Good time to be a comic book fan with the movies Marvel and DC have both put out recently (and T.V. too).

Ugh... the more I think about the title, the more irritated I get. Anyone got a spare chill pill?

Dawn of Justice is a grea subtitle. Yes, it's a precursor to the JL film, but I'm loving the that title none the less. Not so much for the Bats v Sups one.

They thing taking the "s" from "vs" makes it sound less lame, but it doesn't.

First off, why is it just v instead of vs? Is v supposed to stand for something else and not versus?

Secondly, Dawn of Justice is just stupid. I understand it's setting up Justice League, but it just sounds wrong. I haven't seen Man of Steel, but didn't justice start in that film when Superman started doing heroic stuff?

Exactly what would have been wrong with "Batman/Superman: World's Finest"? It'd make everyone happy since World's Finest would be there and the names Batman & Superman would be listed, so people who never heard the term World's Finest would recognize it.

I see this comment a lot, but "v" is abbreviated for vs and versus... You don't read it as Batman v Superman, it's Batman versus Superman.

I agree. They should have stick to the World's Finest. I really hate the fat Batman Logo. The "S" is dark it like they are showing Batman taking over and beating Superman. I'm a Batman fan but this is just too much. I don't like the bat suit he's wearing and I didn't know there was a bat symbol till someone pointed it out. It blends it as if it was just outlined.

I heard Batman kills Superman in the first 5 min of the movie! ;) come at me Supe fans.

A fight between Superman and Batman has the potential to shift more tickets so......you know how it goes.

If someone wasn't going to go see Batman and Superman together in the same movie, he wasn't going to see it anyway...

Batman's name goes first because it's in alphabetical order. People complained about the same thing with Batman/Superman and not only is it edited in the Superman office but the title might as well be Superman's pal: Bruce Wayne for the content it produces.

Most people don't know what World's Finest Means! They had to include Batman V Superman to get people to see it, and then they added dawn of justice to let people know a justice league movie is coming. I wouldn't be surprised though if there is another Batman/Superman team up movie after justice league that's called World's Finest

World's Finest seems like a better title, but Dawn of Justice is good title too.

You guys want to change the title? This is how you do it. First you buy some duct tape and a sharpy marker. Then you find a Batman v Superman; Dawn of Justice poster. You want to start out by scribbling over that silly little v. Then you cover Dawn of Justice with the duct tape. After you have done that, you write World's Finest on the duct tape.... Now you have the movie title you always wanted!

Ps. You don't have to use "World's Finest". You can use what every you like. I'm planning to use Batman v Superman; Two Heroes One Cup.........

I wish the V was in caps. Anyways awesome name and no Dawn of Justice isn't cheesy, its a great name, I don't see anyone complaining about Dawn of the planet of the apes, Age of Ultron etc. And obviously they were going to put Batman's name in first, he's the more popular character now.

It stopped being a MoS sequel as soon as Batman was involved, I've been telling people from the start that its not MoS2 but more like a Batman and Superman team up movie like Avengers.

Is anyone upset about Dawn of the Planet of the Apes? Obvious we know the Apes will win and will rule the planet, maybe in the 3rd or 4th film. This film basically will lead into the third film were they rule the planet.

There's no reason to get upset at WB for titling this movie Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, to me it entails just how more epic Justice League will be, imo MOS2 looks epic and if that leads to an even more epic film, aka JL, then I'm all for it.

Not to mention the title is for marketing purposes.
