    As good as it could have been 0

    Pros: Gail Simone started a fascinating arc with a great villain, it had some bumpy parts but I think she did a nice job of ending it with tragedy and some mystery. We all know James Jr. wont stay gone, and that Barbara isn't a killer. However, the animosity between her father and her will be interesting to see how it is dealt with.Cons: Unfortunately with the two issues Gail was gone this story line stumbled, who knows where it was intended to go and for how long. I felt like it was wrapped...

    Bloodshed among sibling rivalry! 0

    Right in the introduction readers witness a flash of James Gordon's unraveling as the two siblings watch a horror movie from years past. Young Barbara sits idly by in one corner over watching young James as he criticizes the sloppiness of the killer's handy work. Little did Barbara know that this memory is the beginning of James deviancy. Back to present day, Barbara returns to her roommate, Alysia.     Utter Garbage 0

    This issue of Batgirl marks two things. One is the end of the arc with James Jr and the second one is the return of Gail Simone to the title after being fired and subsequently unfired from it.There are several ways to see this issue on so many angles it just fails completely.One of the most important facts here is that Gail Simone had pushed this story since issue #5 with the return of Barbara Sr and James Jr. However the last 2 issues were written by Ray Fawkes, as a result this entire arc does...
