    First Class Movie

Story:The history of Professor X and Magneto is told and when they meet, they gather the X-Men to defeat Sebastian Shaw and stop the begining of World War Three.

    The Good
The movie's plot line cleverly interwines the existing of mutants with real historycal events(American-Russian),the Hollocaust event and the Cuban missile crisis and the role the mutants have to play is really nice. The combination between History and Mutants is really well done and I liked it.

After I saw the clips of the movie I thought they spoiled the movie and that this movie will be a dump like X-men 3 or X-Men Origins:Wolverine. But after I saw the movie I losed the fear and told myself that the clips are short and they don't even show the full potential of the movie. The characters like Havok,Banshee and Angel Salvadore are showned up at big screen and introduced to the new auditory and you can really learn things for them.

The best thing in the movie maybe was the playing of Michael Fassbender of Magneto,he realyy porteys Magneto really well and you can seek revenge with him in the whole movie.Rather than that we get really good actor play in the movie by all of the actors.I was really well surprised by Charles Xavier in this movie,I don't like him but the play of James McAvoy was so good and I liked him as a young man.He is really wild and the scene where he drinks beer in the bar was really cool and I laughed.Banshee's flying scenes were funny and nice and they provide really much action.Havok plays the role of the big douche of the band and you can laugh at his jokes(he's funny but his brother Scott,NOT!!!).Angel Salvadore is really sexy and the movie and her wings were done nice and you can even think that they are real.

The other big things in the movie were the special effects and they were even more powerfull when some of the characters were using their powers:Azazel,Emma Frost,Sebastian Shaw,Riptide and Havok.

The end was pretty nice and kind of builds up a good opening for another movie. And I want another cool awesome movie like this one.

    The Bad
I thought we could get some Irisg/Scotish action but we didn't get.Banshee and Moira weren't from their original countries.Moira is even american who is an agent in CIA.There should be some changes in the movies and even if it is American but still they should be from their original birthplaces.Azazel and Riptide didn't have much dialogue, they are wordless henchmen who kick ass and that is the thing henchmen should do.Azazel has some dialogue in this but Riptide didn't have anything. He didn't say a word in the whole movie and I want some words from him,not to be Shakespeare but still some words.Shaw's history was messed up a little because he was done like a Nazi but this was good because of that Magneto wants revenge and wants to kill him.One of my bif problems is Emma Frost.

There is no bitchy Emma Frost in this like you expect. She is just a wordless henchmen most of because she hasn't much to say,her only purpose is to stop Charles Xavier to enter Shaw's mind and stop him.She is just the pretty hencmen that helps Sebastian Shaw.I and most of the fans of X-Men and the guys who watched the movie expected from Emma to have a big bitchy dialogue that makes her who she really is.From my point of view as a fan of Emma she was pretty much....blah but if you look her physicly she is really hot.

Overall:I expected nothing from this movie but it proved me wrong and in the end it maked me want more and I hope there to be a second movie.
    4.5/5

I do realize that some people here on the vine are extremely loyal to the original source material and to canon, and obviously as people know, this movie isn't really loyal to the original comics. But I believe that you have to evaluate the movie as a movie, and not a comic book, while still appreciating the comic book characters, easter eggs and references.   Now as I live in the UK, the movie came out today (1st June 2011) over here I realize it's not coming out for a little while in other cou...

      Children of the Atom 0

Definitely the best movie of the X-Men franchise ever, combining great performances, interesting characters, a thrilling and exciting story and the right amount of action, this flick was astonishing, especially because of the antagonical visions of Xavier and Magneto regarding the future of the mutants brewing up and growing in intensity as the story was told, also it was very intelligent how some concepts like the Hellfire Clube was designed (a club looking for take over power), how some...
