    Thor Odinson is the All-father of Asgard /God of Thunder, offspring of All-Father Odin & Elder-Goddess Gaea. Combining the powers of both realms makes him an elder-god hybrid and a being of no perceivable limits. Armed with his enchanted Uru hammer Mjolnir which helps him to channel his godly energies. The mightiest and the most beloved warrior in all of Asgard, a staunch ally for good and one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse/omniverse. Thor is also a founding member of the Avengers.

    Amazing how they were  able to keep the outfit on Thor for about 43 years and now are gonna change it. I mean people like batman got a style change pretty  quick, same goes for ironman etc.

     It is amazing.  I think on Iron Man thou, they considered the 'Grey' armor to scary so they very quickly changed it to Gold.  Then it was Ditko who gave him the slick Red & Gold Armor that he would keep for about 20 years.  I think with Thor, Kirby had been playing around with the idea for nearly 20 years before presenting him, so he kind of had a head start - we just didn't get to see the changes.  Batman on the other hand, seems to fluctuate between his original scary 'Batman' to the somewhat less scary (let's hope the campy watered down version never returns.)

    @warlock360: I liked Batman's original look... Iron Man is understandable because his armor has to keep up with the technology.

    I was always ok with thor's costume but i prefer his helmet from the movie just because the dish bowl look just seemed cheesy

    Captain America has kept hte same costume from hte 40s all the way up till early 2010....thats almost 100 years right? only superman can top that.
