Tony Moore on art? I'm down. His style has a wide enough range to capture both the comedic and more serious sides of Deadpool, I think.

Never read anything by these writers, but we'll see which way they decide to take Deadpool. I don't HATE Daniel Way's vision of him, but I really hope these new writers manage to steer him back to his roots.

Well I think this is great. It always felt so jarring watching Cap strut around in his god damn pirate boots when everyone else's costumes were at least mildly more modern. What I don't understand is why they didn't just use Bucky's Captain America costume as the redesign because, honestly, that suit was awesome and this one seems a little too over the top.

What time is it?

ADVENTURE TIIIIIIIIIMEEE!!!

Oh man Adventure Time is probably my favourite show at the moment, and Phil Noto is one of my favourite artists. The two together? Pure gold.

Also, it's good to see Chun-Li's thighs in proportion for once..

From the comments I've been reading, it sounds like a lot of people seem to think that Wade's death will mark the end of his series, but I sincerely doubt it. In my opinion, the books not gonna be cancelled. He's died multiple times before and even in Way's series there was a whole couple arcs where he went around trying to get killed, to the point of being punched into nothingness by the Hulk. From the description I'd say this storyline will just be tying up his long-running relationship with Death and then by the end of the arc he'll be back and doing what he does best.

Hopefully, anyway.

As a new-ish DC reader, I think the reboot worked well in terms of what they were trying to accomplish: bring new readers in.

I read mostly Marvel and Image books before the New 52 and the only DC books I had ever read was Batman and other Bat-Family books because the rest like Superman, Justice League, Green Lantern etc. were far too intimidating to me.

I think the New 52 is good because, even if it doesn't change much, the point is to make the books accessible and I personally think they accomplished that well (on most books anyway). It's definitely made it easier, for me anyway, to break into DC's continuity without having to do extensive research on the long (and extremely convoluted) backstories for most characters.

One thing I do miss is Stephanie Brown, though. I really liked her as Batgirl. Babs is great, but it feels weird having a Batgirl with no Oracle :(

Tbh I dont really mind the costume. Its nothing special but its not bad.

@Cervantes said:

HATE THIS. This retcon is going to be scrapped because MARTHA KENT made the Superman costume, on Earth. NOT Kara's Kryptonian parents before Kal El ever arrived on Earth!

In the issue Kara says that the costume is some sort of Kryptonian formal wear, so maybe Superman's is too at that point? Coz lets be honest, the new Superman costume is like bloody body armor, so I doubt Martha Kent made it in the New 52.

That X-23 picture is plain awesome. Phil Noto's art on that book is great too. He should draw her wearing clothes like that in the book.

That 3D one was a bit unexpected but cool in its own way. I dont really see the Tony Stark in it. Either way its great.
