Yes. The thing is when they redo a film like this, we always have the original - the original film doesn't get worse or lose anything as a result and will always be great.
It's the same with the Back to the Future trilogy, which I also think is due for a remake/reboot.
@devilsfan: I stopped following Pandora but after your question (and providing the best answer I could so far) I went and checked out the previews of the last 2 issues under Forever Evil - looks like to fully understand we need to keep reading her series as well...
I know I'm a little behind but I just finished reading the Trinity Wars story ach which I did enjoy but I think I missed something that’s been bothering me since and I couldn’t google-up an answer.
! Spoilers alert again !
So in the end Pandora’s box turns out to be a scientific portal to Earth 3, which I guess was pretty cool but what I didn’t see addressed, and I read all the tie-ins, was how they explained the 7 sins. The whole story started when Pandora touches the box and unleashes the 7 sins on man. So if the box was a portal all along I guess we assume that the sins were originally residence of Earth 3? I feel like I’m missing something as this doesn’t really sit right with me.
Can anyone clear this up for me?
That aspect was and wasn't explained - and is open to different interpretations from Trinity War on its own. The way I saw/understood it was those "sins" were already part of mankind and thus part of her. When she interacted with it, they took a physical form and became what we saw. However they were own internal desires/sins all along, and it once she realised it, she was able to defeat them. That's about as basic as I can explain how I interpreted what they did show. I could be completely off base and maybe others here more familiar with Pandora as a character within the N52 can correct me or improve my explanation.
