The Great Evil

The Great Evil of the Multiverse. It has many forms, many avatars, many servants. It is the creator of the Anti-Life Equation and is known by many names such as One Below All, The Great Evil Beast, Azathoth and has it's own avatars, aspects, servants, and heralds, many of whom are unaware of their own purpose, which is to do the will of the great evil. Only one, it's creation Nyarlathotep, is aware of it's true nature as the power behind all that is evil, and acts as it's prophet and messenger.

  • The Anti-Life Equation is a formula that saps beings of their free will through an equation that makes life, hope and freedom irrefutably pointless.

  • The One Below All is a malevolent cosmic entity and counterpart of the One Above All. It dwells in the Below-Place, the lowest level of hell, and is the source of gamma energy in the Marvel Universe.

  • A powerful cosmic entity that is not any fallen angel or Leviathan but the soul of the Darkness itself , that appeared in the DC Comics Swamp Thing storyline, "American Gothic." it is represented as God's dark-side. The incarnation of evil.

  • Amatsu-Mikaboshi is the Japanese god of chaos and evil, an aspect of Oblivion. His goal was to put an end to creation and bring about a new age of chaos and void. After almost destroying the Multiverse, he was sealed off to a realm, where he dwells in a endless nothingess for all of eternity.

  • Knull ruled the primordial universe alone until the arrival of the Celestials, who began filling his domain with matter, light and life. He went to war against them and their creations to return the universe to the dark void, creating many powerful weapons to aid him, including the Necrosword and the Klyntar symbiotes.

  • Hunger is an entity from another dimension who feasts on entire realities.

  • Perpetua is a celestial being who created the multiverse that existed before the current one. She is also the mother of the Monitor, the Anti-Monitor, and The World Forger.

  • Abraxas is the embodiment of the multiverse's destruction.

  • Slavic God of misfortune and Chaos.

  • Dormammu is the Ruler of the Dark Dimension, a being of immense mystical power. He uses his vast powers to conquer other universes and dimensions, earning himself the enmity of Doctor Strange in the process.

  • Trigon is a demonic conqueror intent on bringing every reality in existence under his control. He is also the father of Raven and a deity worshipped by the Church of Blood.

  • A sadistic, cruel, and dangerous extra-dimensional demon with unknown origins, Mephisto is incredibly powerful. Based on Mephistopheles, a demon from the Faust legend, Mephisto is known for stealing souls and torturing them in his hell-like dimension. He is one of the many Hell-Lords in the Marvel Universe.

  • The Anti-Monitor is The Monitor's counterpart from The Anti-matter Universe. He is responsible for the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, was the sole Guardian of The Sinestro Corps and once, against his will, was the source of The Black Lantern Corps Central Power Battery.

  • Nekron is the embodiment of death and darkness. He has the power to take and restore life as he pleases, contributing to the reanimation of many heroes in the past. Nekron has also recently become the leader and creator of the Black Lantern Corps, making Nekron the harbinger of the Blackest Night.

  • Yuga Khan is the by far the most powerful and most feared New God of the Fourth World. He is the first tyrannical ruler of the hellish planet of Apokolips and the father of both Drax who would become the Infinity Man and Uxas who would become Darkseid. Most recently,he was one of the beings empowering Shazam during "Darkseid War".

  • A Lord of Chaos and Master of the extra-dimensional gods known as the Old Ones, Shuma-Gorath rules over hundreds of dimensions. He is best known for being one of the most powerful and terrifying adversaries of Doctor Strange. It is seemingly impossible to permanently destroy this evil god.

  • A Dark god that was released from imprisonment after millions of years. "The Dark God Urizen older than memories, older than words."

  • The Many-Angled Ones are a race of Eldritch Abominations that live in the spaces between realities. They are led by Shuma-Gorath, the Lord of Chaos and eldest of The Old Ones.

  • The term demon has a myriad of uses in fiction mainly due to its emotive traditional meaning. Demons are often characterized as devious and/or brutal beings.

  • An Eternal with the Deviant gene, making him unique and extremely powerful, even amongst his own kind. Above all else, Thanos loves and worships Mistress Death. Few can equal his intelligence, strength, and ambition for power. Thanos has wielded the Cosmic Cube, the Infinity Gauntlet, and even the Heart of the Universe.

  • Galactus is the infamous "Devourer of Worlds" in the Marvel Universe. His powers are nearly omnipotent. He has appointed several entities as his Heralds, imbuing them with the Power Cosmic. He uses energy from the core of planets and universal sources to sustain himself. He has currently been changed into the Lifebringer, who restores life to the worlds Galactus has destroyed.

  • Annihilus, a native of the planet Arthos, is the ruler of the Negative Zone and longtime foe of the Fantastic Four. He is a nihilist who is obsessed with finding different ways to extend his lifespan and isn't opposed to destroying all that which he sees as a threat to his existence.

  • A Dark Aspect of the Speed Force, The Black Flash fulfills the role of death to speedsters within the DC Universe, returning them to the Speed Force.

  • A Giant who is the son of Gaea and Tartarus whose sole purpose in life was to overthrow the Olympian Gods and claim the world as his. In ancient times he was defeated by Zeus. He has returned in modern times and has made an enemy of Hercules.

  • The lowest and harshest realm of the dead, it's located in Hades along with pleasant Elysium & Erebus. Created by Chaos, Tartarus has become possibly the worst place in existence. Since the titanomachy it's been used as a prison to contain the foulest mortal sinners and enemies of the Gods.

  • They are the dragons of Revelation, and they want to destroy the cosmos.

  • Gorr the God Butcher is by far one of Thor's deadliest villains, whose sole purpose in life is to destroy all Gods/Elder-Gods across the Multiverse, believing them to be inherently cruel, capricious, and illegitimate. Armed with the mysterious Necroblade--a weapon that commands ancient, ebon energies--and an unyielding resentment for all things divine, Gorr was pushed to create the Godbomb which would have made them obsolete.
