@lunacyde: I suggest you do more research about police brutality. There are more cases than you think. Just because the mainstream never reports on them doesn't mean they do not exist.

While I agree to an extent, police brutality is well documented and is a genuine problem. Also, a person's race only informs his/her status as a mugger if their race relates to their socioeconomic position. Basically, people don't become muggers because they are black or white. But on the contrary, police brutality occurs because the men and women hold the position they do. Your last statement is obviously a widely accepted truism.

As for the OP, the police are necessary, but need restructuring. Police need to be filmed if they are to be held accountable. From this, there should be no internal investigations of police brutality that are bound to come up empty. The police cannot police themselves, we have to hold them accountable. They also need to be demilitarized. No military fatigues, no bearcats. The police should not be able to tear gas/arrest reporters and the press. These are basic violations of civil liberties.

Well first off, you haven't read the story yet.

Similar things were said about Superior Spider Man. SSM didn't turn out to be too terrible. It wasn't great but that's because Slott isn't that great period. It wasn't the holocaust rabid fans made it out to be. Peter's back now and has interesting new challenges to face.

Thor will be back. Aaron is still writing the book. There's a new character fans get to see if they like. If the book doesn't sell well and the character flops then you should have nothing to worry about, Thor will become worthy again in a jif.

This doesn't "ruin" his character any more than Ock possessing Spider-Man ruined Spidey's.

And, out of curiosity, did you become this vehemently angry at DC when they changed Wally's race? And technically speaking, you have no proof this decision was Marvel's and not Aaron's. It's likely that it is, but you have no proof of it.

Finally, at least this change can be reversed. Very easily. Wally's race will never change back.

EDIT: Also, Thor is still around lol. Now we get to see the stories of metal armed axe Thor. The status quo is changing, and that's a good thing. Fans like you demand that the publishers shake things up, and then when they do, you rage so hard that it frightens the publishers into preserving the status quo and reverting to business as usual. I think we should be proud of Marvel for making risky decisions with three of their most prominent characters, while Wolverine is dead no less.

I don't think this is worth the hate it's getting. We all know male Thor will get the hammer back eventually. Chill out.

Gotta say, I prefer some of the user choices. Getting tired of seeing Garner covers every week. We get that he makes pretty covers, but other artists could use a turn imo.

@thanosismad: I don't mind real-world people making appearances. I do mind them being on the cover of an issue and I'd rather them have an alias. To me, this looks like advertising.

@reaverlation: you have not done much to prove that he is stronger and as fast. Wesker could easily do all those things you mentioned as strength feats for him.

He could one shot Wesker, but I sincerely doubt Wesker won't be able to dodge any number of swipes at his neck. He could also just let DS stab him, then take the sword away, as he was shown to be able to block a knife stab with his forearm and shrug it off completely. Besides that, bringing up one shot capability is a moot point, as Wesker could one-shot him too, via leaping neck snap.

Also, speaking of RPGs, I don't think DS has done anything as impressive as catching a rocket propelled grenade and holding it.

@dewin50: they never really hold their own against him when he can think straight. In their first encounter, Wesker only toys with them for 7 minutes. Then he leaves the fight to Jill to take care of other business. Before he gets injected, when he confronts them in front of the jet, he lolstomps them. The only way they inject him is by immobilizing him with the RPG. Then they can tag him on the plane as he isn't thinking straight because of the injection. Otherwise, in cutscene, Wesker has never been tagged by them.
