See? This is why Warner Brothers won't take a chance on other characters without including Batman.

I propose the next event be "Batman: Year None," where they go a full year without releasing a single Batman title to force people to give other DC characters a chance.

It's called 52.

@dagmar_merrill: it definitely doesn't make Iron Man look sucky, but it's worth seeing

James Robinson really is a unique comic writer. For sure.

@daredevil21134: Aha, okay man. You're entitled to your opinion but others are loving it up and it's a shame you can't be more open minded about the direction.

and it's a shame that this book went from an original crime book to a run-of-the-mill super hero book 'coz you know, there isn't an unlimited supply of them on the shelves already or anything. If Waid wanted to write the book dark and it still be good then he easily could just like he did with Incorruptible, Irredeemable and Insufferable yet he decided to take away Marvels ONLY pulp crime book and replace it with "Spider-Man Lite"

There's 25+ years worth of those pulp stories. Waid has the right to change it up for a bit.

i loved the " Red Batman thing. "

Things like that are the reason why I hate this series.

why, lol? A Daredevil book can't have a joke in it just because it's Daredevil?

It has to many of em

It really, really doesn't. If you didn't grasp the joke, that's on you. Waid doesn't actually think he's red Batman. That's a stupid comparison to make, but a lot of folks do it, hence the joke.

Oh please dude I very much understood the joke I just simply didn't find it funny or amusing.

I believe it was a knock against brooding Daredevil, a figure that Mark Waid knew he wouldn't be good at writing so he didn't. There really aren't that many full on jokes in the series (like set up, punch line and pay off style). It's just that DD isn't depressed anymore. He learns to cope, for once. There's also a running hint that there's a secret to his ability to stay positive, but it's yet to be revealed.

Mr. Finch,

Please do not listen to Tony's criticisms. He does not speak for the rest of the comics reading community when he asks for Catwoman to fix her zipper. The rest of us are united in the opinion that the more skin females characters expose, the better. In fact, you should consult Kenneth Rocafort's depiction of Starfire in issue #1 of red Hood and the Outlaws for additional inspiration in drawing Catwoman, Katana, and especially the ever-sexy Stargirl.

-Everyone that reads comics other than Tony

lol are you kidding me? Are you not aware of the number of complaints from the community there were over the Catwoman and Red Hood and the Outlaws series because of oversexualization at the expense of character? Seriously, speak for yourself.

Was giving it a 4 an accident? There's nothing notable in your bad section.

This is the X-men, seems comicvine is pro Avengers and never give an X-men title a 5. They never, except for one time, review my other favorite comics (X-Men Legacy and Gambit).

Well, I know G-Man doesn't like X-Men Legacy and he says he doesn't review things he knows he won't like.

Then what's the point of him reviewing anything?

DING DING F*CKING DING

Exactly.

Picking and choosing things to review isn't even reviewing, it's just pointing out reasons why you liked something that you knew you were going to like.

Can you imagine if Roger Ebert only reviewed films by Martin Scorsese? It's the same thing.

Actually, if you bothered to read the story it actually worked pretty well. At least that's my opinion. I know you hate Bendis with a passion for whatever reason, but some of his stuff is actually good. Like Daredevil: End of Days.

I've found that people who can't figure out why I hate Bendis aren't worth explaining it to. I literally have 2000 word blogs about it. It's not hard to find.

Considering you seem to be pessimistic about everything that isn't created by your boy Grant, regardless of the fact that it has appealing qualities, I would rather skip those 2000 word blogs and instead insure you that there are things to like about Bendis, whether you personally see them or not.

Yep, this is the kind of ignorant comment I expect from a Bendis fan ^_^

I was exaggerating. I happen to like Morrison as well. But you do get almost snobby about him.
