Lex Luthor In Forty Will Get You Twenty (Hostess Ad Parodies #21)

Found this on A Master Collection of Line it is Drawn Hostess Ads!. The prompt from The Line It Is Drawn was "Some variation of Luthor stealing 40 cakes," made by B_2quared and bantwell. The Hostess comic was drawn by Bill Walko to satisfy the prompt. He has his own website, and a DeviantArt page.

You can read about it on Know Your Meme, but the short version is: this picture is in the 1978 book The Super Dictionary. It made it to the Internet through a meme group called YTMND in September of 2005, and spread from there. It has become so popular that it has been spoofed many times, and has even been referenced in Superman #709 in May of 2011, making a version of this canon for the comics.
