Yeh he is gay.    He's only gay in the ultimate version, but who cares its the person and his power we a love not the way he leans.
I mean he's a huge metal cruching machine thats why he's so cool and loved by all.

p.s. His new SFX costume rocks, but there again all the new costumes look miles better than before messiah complex.

I never said the human torch or ant man (scott lang) were useless (there actually some of my favorite heroes) I just said that they aren't always required in there teams.

Like the FF has a smart guy, a strong guy and the powerful hottie.  The avengers have cap, iron man, thor and the smarter ant man (pym) so that every now and again they aren't the first port of call about super issues.

Ironically the same way I feel about angel.

The x-men don't really need angel as part of their team, he is like human torch in the FF and ant-man in the avengers, there is no need for them and no disadvantage from not having them, but with the the team works better.

like, without angel they have people who can fly (cannonball) and healers (elixir) and money isn't that important when the smart guys can make x-jets out of tin cans.

but with him the x-men have a pretty public face, an areial threat and a hero who isn't afraid to play dirty (just look at the last few x-force issues ).

to sum up there good without him, but a bit better with him.
