@animehunter: Ah, so he's dead. Too bad. I really really liked him. He was this eccentric youthful old man with spider powers that could have really been a cool addition to Spidey's supporting cast. But I guess only the classic cast created by Stan Lee will be the one's who will always be there.
If you could give Spidey some additional non classic characters as supports, which would they be, if any at all?
To be honest, it's been so long ago I'd forgotten who these classic characters are.
The cast of characters that always makes it to all forms of media and remain after decades of continuity. Even the dead ones.
I would include a revived Ezekiel and Teresa Parker.
Well there is one character we haven't heard from in a long time and that is Anna May Watson, Mary Jane's aunt, it would be nice to know what happened to her.
and don't you mean "I would include Teresa Parker and a revived Ezekiel."
The way you said sounded like she died, and not currently going on trail, which I hope Spencer addresses, because I really want her to meet Mary Jane.

It was revealed that a variety of supernatural menaces that Spider-Man had faced were really after Ezekiel, and Ezekiel attempted to direct the consequences of gaining his powers onto Spider-Man himself, taking Spider-Man to the temple where he had been given his powers and drawing blood to attract a massive spider that would take the 'false' totem warrior as a sacrifice.[7] However, in his last moments, he realized that he had done nothing with his powers but help himself, while Peter had selflessly risked his life to save others again and again. With this in mind, he attacked the spider that would have eaten Peter, giving his own life to save his friend in recognition of the hero that Peter truly was, and thus gaining a chance for redemption that he would have never had again.
