@Deadcool: Incorrect, the Superman symbol is as instantly recognizable as Coca-cola.Everyone knows who Superman is.
That is right Superman's symbol is so inconic, everybody knows what does that symbol means, but we are taliking about characters not symbols, and Batman and Spider-man are as iconic as Superman is, and far more popular...
Are you trolling or plain stupid? the symbol is a part of the character, and it's recognizable everywhere.Do you even understand the definition of iconic ?Superman is more iconic than Batman and Spider-man put together. That's the truth right there, and as for popularity again Superman arguably leads in that category as well,i have talked to people from Asia on various boards.Nobody cared when Bruce Wayne got broken by Bane or when Spidey was replaced by Riley. But everyone knew Superman died.
Batman and Spider-man have had highly successful movies and video games in the last decade that's why they are prolly more popular amongst a specific age group in specific areas.
Superman is more iconic period, get over it.He just needs a decent movie or 2 and i guarantee he'll easily be at the top when it comes to popularity.
Agree with everything said here... but who do you see as #2?
i hope this was planned all along and not Gail stepping down because of other stuff....
No, this was not planned as I understand it. Gail's twitter account made it sound like an unwanted change.
I don't know if it was planned, but I believe Simone said in an interview recently that she's going to be doing a new team book that DC hasn't announced yet. I don't think she's on the way out or anything.
She did, but I don't know if they were related. Her tweets sounded like it was an unwanted change, though I don't know if that means it was out of her hands.
