    Jason Scott was a football legend in his small home town of Angel Grove, but a failed prank attempt involving putting a bull in the school changing room destroyed his opportunity for glory, leaving him under house arrest and confined to school detention until year's end.

    In detention, he meets the autistic Billy Cranston and former cheerleader Kimberly Hart. Feeling grateful, Billy offers to remove his ankle monitor, which earns him a strong friendship with Billy.
