[SPOILERS] Oh CRAP!!!!! [SPOILERS]
Last INVINCIBLE review. The war between Invincible and Rex will soon begin, but things might change drastically sooner than Invincible thinks! Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ottley join Invincible in another crazy adventure!
The Good
In this issue, well, a lot of things happen. It just feels like it went by so quickly! But for real, a lot of things happen! Invincible tells Cecil about Rex's plans for taking over the world, witnesses Cecil's death at the hands of Rex, and watches his girlfriend get her leg ripped right from her body; again at the hands of Rex! In short, Rex is becoming the BADDEST dude that Invincible has faced currently. And things are only going to get crazier from this point onwards!
I really didn't think Robert Kirkman would be able to top himself after the events of issue 110; especially not this soon! Having Invincible violated like he was in the last issue was something I never saw coming, and I'm sure many fans of the series didn't see it either. However, this issue either topped the last one or is on an equal level with it!
Seeing Invincible deal with this threat of having his friend betray him and want to take over the world is something the character has never seen before. With the lies that have been told on how many years Rex and Monster Girl were in the Flaxan Dimension, to Rex having problems with no longer being a ruler; a major step in Rex's character has happened in a very short amount of time. I like how Kirkman doesn't really play Rex off as a bad guy, but as a misunderstood hero that is trying to make the world a better place; just under his rule. Because he's successfully done it before! However, with Invincible trying to hinder Rex's plans; it adds this twist on who's going to win?! I enjoyed how Robert Kirkman really showed how Rex is the smartest guy in the galaxy and how he's prepared for any outcome. Really excited to see what happens next!
Part of this issue's success should also be credited to the art team and Ryan Ottley! They do an amazing job with the pencils, inks, and colors and make every blow actually look like it hurts. Everything is just perfect with this artwork!
The Bad
The wait is the problem. I want more Invincible now!!! I need to know what happens!

You really need to read this series! 5 out of 5!!!!!!!!!! Next INVINCIBLE.
