Crow-feed litters the sacred grounds of Aulas, a once peaceful land. Knights of honor dragged from their horse by street urchins, princesses thrown into the streets to the pleasure of lusty men, and grand castles filled with legend and lore torn down brick by brick, so that the poor may jeer at the lords that once inhabited them. Blood is spilled like water, as rebellions run throughout the grand country like never before. Pirates and warmongers invade from across the Carrion Waters, leaving the empires weak to such onslaught from within.

But glimmers of hope shine under the dirt and grime of mortal pettiness.

Though they are separate now, great Houses are ready to rise again, to take the throne of Aulas. To bring honor amongst themselves.

And to bring peace to this great land!

The World of Mortal Men

So, fans of Game of Thrones know what Westeros looks like/is. A fairly simple design for those that are not fans. The further North one gets, the colder it will be, until the upper Northern wastes of tundra. Farther to the south, it tends to be hotter, and the desert is to the far South. However, it tends to mostly be foresty regions, with grasslands and rivers and wide open plains for roaming.

With parameters, of course!

• Please be human. Yeah, I know, the idea of an Orcish barbarian or an Elven maiden sounds awesome, but these races are uncommon, and I would personally prefer humans. How rare are elves and dwarves? People think they're extinct. Like, literally a dozen in existence, of each race. So yeah, please, please, do not be these things. I'm ok with some, but PM me first.
• Do not be OP! This seems like an easy one of course, but just to be clear. If you run a house, it is not going to have a grand military of a hundred thousand soldiers, as that's unrealistic for the time period, especially if you want your people to eat (armies cost money). Take into account your environment! If you wanna be living in the Northern tundra, food will be an issue for you, and so on and so forth.

• For the sake of ease, the King shall be an NPC. If the need arises for him to be used, I shall play him, but other than that, he is preoccupied with invaders from across the waters.
• Listen, guys, I don't really spark a lot of events/alternate universes, so I'm scared for this. But there is going to be a LOT of freedom when it comes to building lore. A LOOOOOTTTTTTTTT. I would really rather this be a 'CV community' thing than a 'Joey' thing.

To be brutally honest with you, I'm going to revise and bump my old Undying Throne thread.

As one UT player to another, I honestly just wanted to bring the whole thing back, but the idea of it being a 'Game of Thrones' RP kinda spooks users away if they haven't seen it, so I thought this would be a friendlier way to go about it.
