Since when is darkness evil? Is the night evil? Darkness just is. It's just usually connected to evil.

Harder to see things in the dark, and the shadows caused by darkness and light play with people's minds making them think they see things they may not.  Also people are afraid of the unknown, and in the darkness they feel vunerable.

alright alright alright, let me clear this, most people have the tendency to be afraid of the dark makes dark = evil for the most, yet darkness can be very soothing and charming by a moonlit sky with sprinkly little stars, and on some medium temperture but hey, it varies, but if you go ahead and say, "Hey I'm darkness make me a hero" UH UH,  you see if that were so then Lucifer = Lux Ferre = Bringer Of LIGHT (predicted by most as satan = Evil) would sort of pick that case up now wouldnt it?

Now i ask you, how do you percieve darkness? Because that is the only and eternal answer to whether or not it is evil/neutral/good.

I like the darkness, it is soothing to me.  I go outside a lot at night and sit and look up at the stars.  So I guess I would have to say I dont think of evil when I am alone in the darkness

Darkness is nothing without light. Even in light there is darkness and in darkness there is light, for balance must matter in all things..

An assassin can have light in its darkness, he could have compassion when it comes to certain person. If you saw scar face you will realize that Tony Montana is a bad ass but when it comes to children you see he just can't do it... he can't kill them.. That! Is the light, conscience!

Darkness and Light are just things. Or in darkness's case, an abscense of a thing. To call them evil or good is like calling fire evil or good. It's is neutral. Whther it is evil or good depends on the way it is used.

That's why Harat is an advocate of it and thats whats being debated. Wether or not someone affiliated with darkness should be Good/neutral/evil

However, darkness is associated with evil because many times evil hides in the darkness.  You dont see a lot of vampires or wearwolves or monsters running around in the daylight

somebody supposedly wanted to start something (team, scheme, fight)  but a  couple of people decided to take a deep smelly crap on it and give him the finger.
