I hope you guys don't screw that up.
What's New Around Here?
Gamespot has always been my favourite gaming site (no offense, GB), so this is exciting news. Not sure how it will all go down, but I'm here for the ride :)

Congratulations. I hope this opens up many new opportunities and resources to you people. You worked years on your craft and deserve to move upward and upward.
I would cheer you proper, but all I have is this cup of soy milk. Well, I'll pretend it's Cristal. Cheers!
Ditto. :D I'm happy for this.
I just hope the regular unsubscribed users are not forgotten, yes we haven't subscribed but for a lot of us it's just not viable I think it would be unfair to hold that against us.
Good news all, I hope this is all for the best. That being said, Tony, Sara, I look forward to seeing you there at Wonder Con tomorrow! I'm heading straight there after I'm off of work tomorrow and got my badge today :)
Hopefully they can help you reorganize the site. The forums are kind of a mess and hard to navigate through.
man, curse the whiskey brand for making me care so much about a group of websites lol. Im very excited but im sort of worried cause well, the Whiskey Media sites were the first sites I really got into... never posted much but I really loved the videos and the message boards/ community have always been great to read. I still plan on sticking around but its sort of gonna stink that we will never see another Live Live show with the whole crew...
@pikahyper: I guess you probably shouldn't drink it? I wasn't aware there was a...actually, nvmd, someone commented every time I mentioned soy consumption here now that I remember. Oh well, just one more one detail added on the list of things that make me unusual, and certainly far from the worst.
Just wondering but will we continue to have Quest on these sites? They're one of my favorite things to do on the pages.
Ever since the news, my browser has not been supporting CV(?). I try and log on but it refreshes the page and loops back to how it was. I've tried modifying the cookie settings and taking down firewalls but nothing has worked. Anyone else having this problem?(using crappy IE attm)
Well I haven't been on here all that long, but I'm sure everything will be just fine if not better and you guys seem pretty confident about it so I say congrats. As long as the wonderful wiki you guys have here remains the same I'm fine, I mean when it comes to things comic related the wiki on this site beats others by leaps and bounds.
If I could just make one suggestion (more of a request really), can you guys please do more "casting calls" for has yet to be made comic book films? You guys did one for Teen Titans a couple of months back and I really thought that was cool. It took me back to the days when Wizard magazine use to do those, ya know before the comic adapted movie boom we've had over the course of this last decade, and the fact is there are still so many characters out there we have yet to see on the big (or small) screen it'd be nice to know which actors and actresses you experts think would be right for certain roles.
@csl316: Screened will be with this company: BermanBraun..
So,, with the influx of all of that Viacom money,,, will you be offering your review videos once again to the public? I assume that is the premium content you now charge for, as your review videos ceased after you launched your premium service.
@humanstruggle: I think they stopped the video reviews because they were expensive and time consuming for the number of views they were getting. All of the premium videos (that I remember at least) were mostly Tony doing goofy things in his garage. Whiskey as a whole seemed pretty adamant that they would only add stuff for premium members, not take away from non-premium members, and they have (or had, I guess) done that pretty well.
Hopefully this means alot more resources for you guys?! I'm sure more coverage at all the cons?! It will be exciting to watch.
I've been around for a pretty long time. I was here during 1.0 and saw the change to 2.0 (Which I think perturbed a lot of us RPGers because accounts merged and posts were lost. Shakes Angry Fist.). I remember when Sara was BatGirlBabs and was one of the Best RPGers we had. I remember when InferiorEgo was just a normal user (Although it was for like five minutes).
ComicVine has gone through a lot of changes in five years (Thats how long I've been around...>.>). But no matter what they have always stayed true to the users (Maybe not all the users. We RPGers are still waiting for our Power system back -__-). So I think this change will be for the best. I highly doubt any of the Devs would allow the content or the bases for the site to be diluted or led astray in any way.
I guess this is my long winded way of saying congrats CV. Its been a long journey and its still going :)
Also... I think I might have to wonder over to tested... Especially if Adam and Jaime may be around.... I love Mythbusters.

@aztek_the_lost: Everyone's wiki points will be reset to 0.
well that's slightly depressing, good thing I got my point-related goal accomplished then, I've been meaning to retire anyways, I've been putting off getting back to working on my own site for too long
I'm kidding. I have no idea. I just said that because of your recent accomplishment. :P
