What would you rather have a scarab or a Green Lantern ring?

The reach's scarab that gives the beetles their powers vs. The Guardian Green Lantern ring?

GL Ring no contest.

The Scarabs have been shown to take control of hosts and the AI seems irritating.

A ring, easy.

Besides, who wants an annoying voice in their head?

Still a lantern ring, scarabs are hated everywhere they go, in most sectors lanterns are looked to as heroes. The reach is hated bro.

I'll only choose the Lantern Ring If I get the Power Battery included.

Normally, I would go with a GL ring...but there are a few disadvantages:

• It can be taken away.
• It can be lose charge.
• Will power may fluctuate.

So I'm gonna go with a Scarab. I won't mind the little voice in my head.

I love these answers, but considering that the Green Lantern Ring is "the most powerful weapon" in the DC Universe and that you create anything as long as you aren't a wimp...I totally go with the Corps ring. -.-

And yeah, no Scarab for me because Jaime had (some major) problems with it; same can be said for the lantern ring, but less side effects on the long run.

If I can have the same relationship with the scarab that Blue Beetle has then Yes I want the scarab if not then GL Ring complete with Power Battery to charge it.

im torn idk whats worse a voice in your head or the guardians? and the ring can get taken, lose power, and it takes imense amount of will power. i thinked id chose the scarab though.

The ring for me, something that is powered by imagination, will and courage is an awsome weapon for me. The only problem is that my boss would be an old grumpy alien man who depending on his mood may or may not decide to kill me. I would still prefer to be a lanturn but I always have liked the other lanturns(blue, violet, even yellow even if they are villans) more because they are not ruled by those gaurdian jerks.

I'll go with the scarab. The Guardians have basically turned themselves into villains, and yet they have the power to get rid of all Green Lanterns....

I have no willpower whatsoever, so it'd be useless to me.

Does the ring come with a power battery? If so, the ring.

I like Beetle (Jaime) more than GL (any), but a GL ring is a much better weapon. No annoying voice in your head, no chance of it taking control of you, etc.

Lantern Ring, I can see more every day life applications.

Scarab, assuming its the Jaime Reyes version. I hate GL's and they take more effort to use. I don't mind a tattoo.

Scarab for me, assuming it doesn't make me subservient to the Reach that is.

Main reason why I don't want a GL ring is because it would take way too much willpower to work. Plus, a GL ring is a recognized symbol all around the universe, so having one on and not using it just makes you a giant target for aliens. So, to summarize, useless weapon (for me). Also, there's a need for it to be recharged and possibly you'll be recruited to the Corps on Oa.

Now while the Scarab would be fused to my spine and have an annoying voice in my head, it has high-destructive powers that are relatively easy to manifest. Strength, flight, and a healing factor all make for good fun. And without the Reach link, I'd be able to go off on my own. Although I'd probably spend some time finding a way to silence the AI in my head.

GL ring.

GL ring definitely, being a part of the Corps would be an added bonus..only down side is the immense will needed, and the fact you have to recharge it. (A minor hassle).

Scarab on the other hand comes with the possibility of being controlled, and a voice that is always present- could get annoyingly very quickly.

I would rather have a ring I could power off and possibly take off than some hostile alien technology fused to my spine. Green power ring it is.
