and to whomever else it may concern, I'm posting this for opinions, I was thinking about reworking this story into an elseworlds superman tale into it's own story with original characters and such. I need feedback on that concept.
Also note that I wrote this about a year ago, so if you're rereading this, please forgive the way it looks like a script.
@primepower53: Sure, but it'll be hard because it's loaded with Superman-ness. A kid from another planet, the KB, General Lane etc are all within the Superman mythos and inventing a 'new' hero with powers like Superman will simply draw conclusions that this is a second rate Superman. But do it, write it up and as a tester/teaser/poll put the first chapter up here on CV so people can comment and give feedback.
@batkevin74: I've changed it around a bit, played with names/changed powers and such (the main character, for example, only has flight, agility, stamina and reflexes). I can PM the VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY rough draft to you if you'd like. I'm almost done with it.
@primepower53: That could be pretty cool, It might let you explore some of the none Superman centric aspects of the story more. I haven't read this in a while so I'm not sure what those aspects are exactly but I'm sure it'd be interesting to see those ideas that you originated getting more time. Let me know when you write it
