if Thor tries to win by having a brawl he is losing badly. if he uses his speed strength versatility and power he might. but look how much good that does with superman. and he always walks out barley alive.
With the edit by the OP I think Thor can win this. DoS Doomsday only barely killed Superman, and actually he didnt kill him but only put him in a sort of coma. Superman wasnt going all out from the beginning of the fight, while DD was. With Thor going all out and having increased strength... I think he can win.
I would really want Thor to win, but I gotta be honest Doomsday wins 9/10. Thor has lost to the likes of Hulk on quite a few occasions, Doomsday is like Hulk on steroids...I'm sorry Thor, but the only way you're going to win is with BFR (which can't be considered a win, because it's like running away from the fight) I dont like Doomsday much, while I think Thor is really cool but he'd lose this fight for sure.

thor never lost to hulk going all out. Thor wins in any number of ways...
1. Thor can bfr doomsday to surturs realm or helas realm, bfr is a win it the opponent cantteleport back.
2. a full godblast is a galactus level attack it kills DDpermanantly. Imperix has done this before and DD couldnt come back he had to be cloned
3. Thor can stop time and scatter DD across the universe.
unless stated in character battles are done to the best of a characters ability not the norm. Thor spites
If bfr counts as a win in this one Thor takes it. Superman getting killed by Doomsday was pure Pis. There's no reason why Supe's couldn't have flown DD into space and let him float off into the distance forever.... but that would have been a quick victory and wouldn't have made DC near as much money. In this case there's no such concern. Thor bfr's Doomsday. Without Bfr though Thor get's beat bloody.
dd gonna beat the crap out of thor and if he does't hell come back again and again and again until one day he come back and not only beats thecrap out of him but pummle him to a blood pulp
if this is dos doomesday thor wins with the power ups he can increase his strength 20 fold which would make him atleast superman times 10 probobly more and the skill advantage but if this is any other version of doomesday then thor can't hurt him which makes this fight unfair.
If this is death of superman doomsday I think thor can take him under these conditions. He might have issues with doomsdays speed but if he is using all his powers I think his versatility will overcome doomsdays brute strength.
Thor wins because of his energy projection and other abilities. Then Doomsday comes back to life and kills Thor. Its really not fair to put people against Doomsday. They might kill him once but then he comes back immune to them.
In H2H, Doomsday wins. The only chance that Thor has to overpower Doomsday in H2H is with the use of his strength belt and the warrior madness
If the fight is not H2H, Thor should win, he could drain him, attack him throwing his hammer, throw lightning, god blast, a tornado. In the worst case, Thor could reverse time and stop DD from been created.
It is going to be a hard fight but I will give this one to Doomsday since he is much powerful than Thor in terms of brute strength and it is even said that his strength capacity is known to be unlimited. He can be as strong as he needs to be in order to accomplish the goal like killing Thor.
