Thor vs Doomsday

as with many posts like this : thor would lose.

but if you saying thor gets to be thor and not some loser who gets his butt handed to him , then i can see him knocking out doomsday after a tough fight.

Thor is Marvel's whipping boy lately more so than before. I don't see Thor winning against DD. But hey, never know till it happens in comics. And even then ...

Depends, do you mean once? Or each time he comes back, now I'm a Thor fan and I hate Doomsday (all doomsday type villains) but I'm not sure if he can if he comes back immune to magic, endless Doomsday is completely disingrated to another realm or something.

Thor has too much Diversity with his powers. He dimension dumps Doomsday into the Core of the Sun and Doomsday cannot survive that.

Thor's hammer itself can do damage on Doomsday pretty badly. It travels twice the Speed of Light and faster and Doomsday isn't that fast.

The Hammer completely rapes Doomsday.

Depends on which version of Doomsday we're using. Thor would Rofl stomp the Doomsday that appeared back in '92 and killed Superman. See Superman was very much nerfed after the COIE reboot. Back during the Death of Superman, Kal's power didn't compare to current Thor and neither did Doomsday's. Later on Superman was made retroactively more powerful, and by association, Doomsday as well.

Post Infinite Crisis Doomsday would eat current Thor's entrails and thoroughly enjoy them. This a fight to a death, so simply using BFR doesn't garner the win.

Just because he blitzed him doesn't mean he's faster. Most every time they fight, Supes remarks that he has to try and keep up with Doomsday's speed. Doomsday usually show's he's faster than Supes, too.

The only way I see Thor winning this is if he keeps on finding ways to kill DD (which to me isnt really a victory.) or if he finds a way to defeat DD without killing him that he cant adapt to.

Thor can win this...but Doomsday will keep coming back until he's BFRed

Thor, using the full arsenal of his powers, is much more versatile than just being a brawler, and should win this easily. But......that would never happen, because Thor typically likes to just punch stuff. So.....Doomsday for the win.

you have made countless threads of Thor using all of his hammer's powers, i've seen you debate many MANY times listing all of the powers, whatta ya mean you don't know?

I do not know much about DC (so, maybe I should keep my opinion to myself). But, i have been reading a lot of the forums here, and a big discrepancy that i have noticed amongst Superman fans, is that many of them feel that Doomsday should not have been able to kill Superman, that he is not the caliber villain that could do that to Supes. If this is, in fact, the case, then I give it to Thor, as he is a Superman caliber hero (debatable on this site...i know). But, if Doomsday is every bit as tough as he was when he killed Superman, then I have to give it to Doomsday. I hate to though!

nah, don't keep your opinion to yourself, I kinda agree with you. Thor SHOULD be able to defeat Doomsday in comics, but the sheer cheapness of Doomsday as a character (I dislike him a lot) is what would eventually give him the win.

Thor would beat DoS Doomsday pretty easily. He'd lose to H/P Doomsday, though.
