Nothing. I was just wondering why hardly anyone on this site bothers reading something with Bane in it before making battles featuring him. Slade would stomp this, it's not even fair. Considering what he recently did in his new 52 series, he might actually be stronger than Bane even when he's on Venom.

look man i read lots of bane stuff knightfall, secret six and his fights with night wing batman in the azreal series iirc he beat jpv and without the venom ,also defeated ras alghul's best bodygaurd easily plus he is strong enough to rip a man's arm off on his own strength ,withstood nearly 600 blocks breaking on his chest...... i think bane is a good candidate maybe he'll lose i just wanna see people's opinion on this plus this isnt the new 52 slade, plus the pre-flashpoint slade was more impressive
@CitizenBane:Not saying you're wrong but what did he do in his new series that might make him stronger Bane on Venom? Was it in the third issue?
In the first issue he ripped off an airplane hatch door mid-flight. Considering the amount of air pressure on the door, that requires incredible strength.

He beat JPV after making him run through a gauntlet of Venom-enhanced thugs. Slade has stomped Nightwing so many times it's not even funny. At one point Dick stated that Deathstroke could kill him without even breaking a sweat. Apart from the named members, the League of Assassins is filled with cannon fodder, even Catwoman has beaten Talia's personal group of bodyguards by herself. Slade stomps this badly.
its not an unfair fight at all,bane juiced on full vemon would be very close to strength with d/s. as for a winner bane is highly skilled,super intelligent foe and not to be written off so easy,not as much as d/s but certainly no stomp,d/s winner in a bloody fight.
Deathstroke takes this with relative ease. He's much faster, stronger and smarter than Bane, and he's more skilled with his weapon then Bane. Bane's a great character, i like him, but he's got no chance in this.
The TRUTH,Bane wins the second round for sure IMO.
Round 1: Slade's way too fast, he just throws his blade through Bane's heart or head a la Geo-Force.
Round 2: Slade's armor would supplement his own durability and healing factor. He's still faster, and arguably strong enough to bring Bane down. He can't run on Venom forever, eventually he'll start slowing down. And then...

He's on Venom, so he sees Slade as Batman. He can't think of any strategy like that, all he can do is run after Slade with his arms outstretched screaming "BREAK YOU!".

Decoy and Bane have already said it. The serum that was given to Slade that enhanced his abilities also made him smarter and as a result he's able to prep for the JLA. Bane's intelligent but he's not Slade intelligent. Also Bane on Venom is usually a 1/2 tonner, which is in no way stronger than Slade who's probably around the 6/7 mark.
Not to mention the fact that Bane loses intelligence on Venom.

That makes no sense. You shouldn't be able to spray someone to effect them. I can see pills working but not spraying it.

bane is probably 1/2 a tonner on his own, breaking walls, ripping a guys hands off while wearing a metal suit and several other strength feats without the venom. the real life strongest men are bench around 300kg and they cannot rip that hard. anyway if slade was really a 6-7 tonner he would have killed batman with a single shot, he is just the strength of ten men
NO,that's a misconception.The withdrawal effect puts you in tremendous pain,but as long as the supply is constant then there is no decrease in intelligence.

6-7 tons? no friggin way.He's a tonner at the max,the DCNU version could be stronger but I doubt he'll ever be above 2 tons. @Morpheus_ said:
