I don't understand, how is someone able to hate a Fictional character? and that "exscuse" is... strange, no one would hate a character for that... Do you hate him because he is also like aquaman?

@Distortion: lol Yes it's true. He was asked in an interview about being offered the Role of Batman in the early 80's late 70's. They asked if he was a Batman fan, he said he wasn't but that he was a Namor fan growing up. He thought he was a really cool character that took no BS. Plus he loved water and was into swimming all through high school and his youth.

i vote for namor because he reminds me of vegeta strong, aggorant and doesn't take crap from no one i don't care for aquaman. but, its a shame when his sidekick are way cooler than he is as shown in young justice "downtime" episode.
Great scans, Messenger. Didn't know Namor owned Red Hulk, recently. Aquaman couldn't do that. And I love Namor's personality. He's one the strongest, Earth born beings alive, and has been for almost 100 years. He's also a King, so he has a right to have an ego.
And yea, it's easy for people to equate Namor and Aquaman as being equals, because they mirror each other in abilities, and the roles they both fill in their respective publisher's houses, but they are not equals. Namor is a much stronger character. When Aquaman takes out a Hulk-class opponent, then we can talk, or a whole team of Avengers, or Nimrod Sentinels (the list goes on), then we can talk.
Close, and as I said earlier, interesting battle, but eventually Namor would emerge (or, submerge?) on top.
im inclined to go with namor. the strength difference is the deciding factor in my opinion( namor is class 100 in water and i think aquaman is class 75) im not sure if aquamans strength level is 75 on land or in water.
Aquaman wins, no question. Aquaman's strength is more than enough to allow him to stand against Namor. It is of no importance if Namor were stronger (which underwater, I don't think he is), because Aquaman has stood hurt and withstood blows from the likes of Martian Manhunter, Lobo and Starbreaker (and didn't even flinch against him, and then knocked him out with one punch) and whats more, he's fought toe to toe with Despero, and proved so much of a challenge that Despero actually refrained from using brute force and resorted to telepathic attacks, with which he wasn't able to overcome Aquaman anyway. He also knocked out an Olympian who had knocked Martian Manhunter from space to the Earth with a single discus throw. His strength was enough to lift a city block and overturn an oil rig. Not to mention, Aquaman is way faster than Namor is. He is the fastest thing underwater and if he's faster than Namor there, he's faster than Namor on land as well. Also, Aquaman is more than just brute strength, he is a powerful telepath. He's used this ability before to withstand telepathic attacks from Despero, de-evolved the brain of a superevolved shark, induce paralysis and seizures, take control of another one's body (Superman's body, no less) and there's even a showing of him inducin fear into Superman with it. Not to mention his control over any form of sea life, which depending on who's universe they're in is a huge asset. With Namor's complete vulnerability against psychic attacks, I see him losing fast this way. Along with his speed, his reflexes are also superhuman enough to allow him to dodge a myriad of spears thrown at him at once (described as a fusillade), then snatching one from midair and using it to parry every single one of the remaining projectiles. He defeated Deathstroke whilst fighting alone and blinded and suffering no harm (the same Deathstroke that ridiculed the JLA composed of Hawkman, Kyle Rayner, Black Canary, Zatanna, Wally West, The Atom and Green Arrow). In short, yeah, Aquaman wins.

Both characters are two of my favorites--however, I think i'd have to go with Namor. Orin's showed immense strength, and his magic hand is definitely a factor, but Namor's incredibly fast, as well as strong.

Namor does have telepathy just like aquaman to communicate with marine life. So if you have some form of telepathy you should also have some form of telepathic resistance as well. Although I have never personally seen any telepath do any harm to namor, mainly because he befriends most of them.

Namor is half human half atlantean. Not only that he is considered a mutant so that wont work on namor. To add Aquaman cant use that ability to effect other atlanteans which is exactly what Namor is. Namor can fly and swim at Mach speeds and when he is underwater his durability is increased several times. Moreover he can also absorb the abilities from sea life such as an electric eel and fire electrical bolts at Aquaman. For everything that Aquaman throws at Namor, Namor has a response and a deadly one. These are the reasons why I see Aquaman losing
namor. he traded punches with the hulk, in his early years!!! could aquaman do that? no. plus he doesnt have the hand anymore, not like it would have helped. namor's far too powerful, skilled and contrary to what i've seen in the early posts HE CAN TALK TO FISH AND CONTROL THEM.
