Marvel Studios' Phase Two is right around the corner and has plenty to be excited for, but today there's some veeeeeeery delightful news about Phase Three!

MTV News had a chance to chat with Marvel's President of Production Kevin Feige and he confirmed that we'll see Edgar Wright's (Scott Pilgrim vs. The World) Ant-Man in 2015.

I've known Edgar since our first lunch together at Comic-Con in 2004," he continued. "He asked me what Marvel was doing with 'Ant-Man' — we weren't even a studio then; what a difference eight years makes! It's very much an 'Ant-Man' origin movie from the perspective of Edgar Wright and his co-writer Joe Cornish. It will of course be firmly planted in the MCU, but a different corner than we've seen before.

When asked about other characters, Feige said, "you probably don't have to look too far to guess at the next list of characters we're toying with and beginning to develop." Shortly after, he said Doctor Strange is "definitely one of them."

He's a great, original character, and he checks the box off this criteria that I have: he's totally different from anything else we have, just like 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' He's totally different from anything we've done before, as is 'Ant-Man,' which keeps us excited.

So yeah, Phase Three sounds incredibly promising. Not only will we have Avengers 2, but we'll also have these two films which could potentially bring a drastically different vibe to the bring screen. How do you feel about a Doctor Strange and Ant-Man solo film finally heading our way, Viners?

Okay, saying "more successful" is very arguable. And while I would enjoy a Ms. Marvel film, I don't see how, say, a She-Hulk film would be better than a Dr. Strange film. If handled right, it could be the new Lord of the Rings.

True. But a terrible Ant-man movie would be a lot worst to marvle than a terrible She-Hulk moive. In the second even with bad writting they can add Hulk just to make his fans give a look at it.

hate to be the guy to drop this but as they say "haters gonna hate" i am soooo looking forward to these movies. say they are lame all you want, i trust edgar wright with antman (and to be fair i think cap is lame and i didnt shit all over that movie... although it was the worst of the (current) marvel-verse)

They could have added "Ant-man" and "Wasp" in Iron man 3 they belong in the same society circles anyway. And they would Join the avengers II cast and the Ultron would be handled in Avengers III

I don't see why in Avengers 2 Heroes for hire isn't like..15 minutes of the beginning of the movie, and Shield confronts them offering a big payday to help the Avengers, and then have them decide to become perminent members. Or honorary members.

I recall Johnny Depp made noises a while back about being interested in playing the part of Doctor Strange (his favourite comic book character). I would be really interested in seeing how that would turn out.

Ant Man I am not too sure about. Just what part of his history do they plan on putting to film? Are there any actors already rumoured to take the role?

Could you not say the same about ant man, dr strange, the gaurdians of the galaxy, thor, etc.? It this some kind of race thing? Because the way i see it, Black Panther would be a regal film like Thor, but would probably cost less. Cast Chadwick Boseman or Idris Elba. The film wpuld make money on the Marvel vanner alone

I envision Pym working at Van Dyne labs, with Bill Foster and Scott Lang working for Pym directly, and Janet Van Dyne as the bosses daughter who hangs out and helps out there all the time.

I think Dr Strange was supposed to have a movie in the 90's, but something happened; producer pulled out or something. The movie turned into Doctor Mordrid after they lost the rights to Strange.

I only know about this because it stars Jeffrey Combs, and he's pretty cool and stuff.
