    He appears killed at the beginning of the issue in the Aparo Building in Gotham city. Robin, Nightwing, Red Robin and Spoiler have just arrived to investigate that killing. Batman uses this coincidence to test them if they found who killed, how and obtain all info needed for the crime scene.

    After investigations, he was a dirty cop, the kind of he pissed everyone off. Cops hate him. Criminals hate him. He gets transferred from city to city like a bad school teacher. Six cities in nine years so finally was transferred to Gotham city.

    He was married to Cynthia "Markus" Young, woman whose arrest warrant he hold. Time ago Cynthia and William both covered a murder over a drug dealer he arrested. They split up the drug money. At last Detective Dungeon was blackmailing her, but she was a new man, Killer Croc.
