Now i'm a big fan of Damian, but after a few years of storytelling i feel he should be killed. His death should have the same impact as that of Jason but he should be kept dead.
It would add to Bruce's psyche and even Dicks for that matter. It would contribute to the Bat mythos.
Thoughts?
Damian Wayne

Nah, I don't think so. Plus I don't think that Damian and Batman have really connected that much yet, at least IMO.I agree.
@entropy_aegis: I'd like it. I love Damian, but yeh, his death would make for a great story. And it would mark the beginning of "Men in Refrigerators".LOL
No just no. Because somewhere down the line some genius will be like "Hey let's bring him back from the dead!" Making his death somewhat less meaningful than what it should be.
Are you kidding me? Tim was Robin for... I don't even remember how long. Damian has been Robin for a few years, and hasn't actually grown up yet, and already people are saying "he should be killed, it would be a great story". No, it would not be a great story. It would be a cheap throwback to a Death in the Family.

Death in the family was cheaply editorially mandated cause they wanted to get rid of Jason as they felt he was a waste of time. That story had Joker running around as a UN ambassador, shows you how much DC cared about Jason. Are you kidding me? Tim was Robin for... I don't even remember how long. So a cheap throwback to a cheap storyline? Even better :P
Damian is the best new character of the decade. Yeah I said it.
Also when you result to the "lets kill this character just because" it proves that the story sucks from the beginning.

Fixed it xD

Damian has already been shown in the future being Batman and he was just as great if not better than Bruce was, IIRC.
If he was to die, I think Jason should blow his brains out, like right in front of batman too, but damian needs to be doing something bad, to the point where jason is right in doing so, like...trying to kill bruce..... then BAM!!!! Robin brains all over bruce's face.
No way they'll kill Damian. He's an amazing character and, honestly, if he had a solo title it'd sell better than Red Hood and the Outlaws ¬¬
That need to see someone dead in the Bat Family must come from the fact that the last member who died came back to the living world. Hehe. Nothing against it, though.
Then again, I think Damian has a lot to offer to Batman's universe and DCnU. So I don't see his death coming. Maybe his mother will, not him. Last but not least: I LIKE Damian, so of course I don't WANT him to die.
@JonesDeini: He could have but he has potential as a character as red hood more than he did as robin.......I wish they picked a better way to bring him back from the dead.....

Yeah, I'm cool with this. Also, Jason should've stayed dead. *Digs in in preparation*
hahahaha
I dig Damien. I say keep him. The character has a ton of potential, which is probably why he's still around after the reboot.
We don't kill every robin.
Also why not let the infant in batman birth of the demon be killed, and it be revealed that damian is a different infant.
I'm for it, if it's a great story. I neither hate nor love the character. But if it creates a greater Batman I'm all for it.
Honestly if they wanted to give Damian a time out they should not kill him. It would seem very cheap. What I think would be much more impressive is that he should go against everything he was taught and strive for a normal life. I mean we don't get many ex superheroes just being normal citizens. And then whenever a write wants to use him they totally can.
But for now they better not get rid of him
