I haven't read that many Wonder Woman comics and I got curious about her atom-cutting sword and when did it appeared since It seems to be a modern invention. The first time I ever heard of that sword was in Kingdome Come, does anybody know if it was created there.

Aren't atoms all around us? Shouldn't she accidentally cut one while fighting?

@kiba: I think that it means the sword is sharp enough to cut atoms, but to cut it you need to have a lot strength and energy ( aka nuclear reaction ), so IMO , that kind of stuff would only happen in pre crisis story arc...

I'm not sure when Wodner Woman's Sword appeared (I be that Nerevarine_11 is correct) but the only time that I think it was used to split an Atom comes from Superman/Wonder Woman 06.
