I don’t know how to explain this
First of all this issues contains the “stunning” conclusion to the Egg Fu/human bomb storyline from the previous issue. The reasoning behind it is pretty weird. Now both Diana and Steve are explosive, but when she sees an antimatter meteor she has her solution – antimatter will stop them from being explosive (as well as a meteor of antimatter could very well destroy the earth but whatever). Once they get around to fighting Egg Fu they got caught in his mustache trap (umm … gross!). Eventually Wonder Woman uses her lasso to crack his shell and problem solved. This issue was no better than the previous one for plot or its depiction of Asians. The second story was a kind of surreal breaking of the fourth wall. A bunch of Wonder Woman characters are in the office of the writer and they are about to get fired. The story goes on with everyone asking Wonder Woman is she knows who will get fired, and then the writer decides to fire almost everyone (I was hoping for Steve Trevor but he stayed.)
It was one of the most bizarre and I think self-serving examples of writing I have ever read. This is another one of those issues where I can’t recommend to read it, but its so bad its almost good. Still though it is bad, and so get a poor rating.
