    Ok...wait a minute.

Marvel has a character named Scarecrow?  Who looks just like DC's Scarecrow?  This is a little retarded.

He's brought up in this book as he assists The Profile, The Hood, and a revived Bushman to take out the reformed Moon Knight.  Strangely, it didn't strike me as strange until I finished the issue.  As I was reading, I just assumed it was the DC character, and it didn't bother me in the slightest until that little red flag popped up in the back of my head saying "Hey asshole!  You're reading a Marvel book!  What the fuck?"

My stupidity aside, I liked the book.  The scene's drift casually to a fro between a series of stories.  Moon Knight protecting Marlene as the museum is broken into, subduing the robbers without maiming his victims, which impresses the lady quite a bit. Spider-Man's input on Moon Knight's new found fame and popularity (always a funny commentary).  And Bushman and co. taking over the asylum with the help of Scarecrow.  This scene in particular was very classic Moon Knight fare.  Super violent and at times, incredibly disturbing.  Great stuff. I'm also glad they backed down on some of the pseudo-comedic dialogue from issue two.  It was kind of weird.  However, the writing in the final sequence between Lockley and Marlene was brilliant.  I get sick of the "inward reflection" side of this character, but when it's done short and sweet like it was here, it makes for an awesome scene.

The art in particular wowed me in this issue, after a few week points in issue two, I was glad to see Opena back on track with his pencils.  However, one this that has been bothering me is how the mask's eyes change from glowing red to glowing blue.  Not sure yet if that depends on the time of day, or if it's just the colorist not being able to make up his mind.  Guess we'll see.  But there were a lot of moving large shots in this issue.  Bushman standing over his grave with his face still carved off, to the final shot in the book.  They were powerful, and that's one thing I love about Opena's art.

All in all, a great build in the middle of a solid arc.  If you were a fan of Moon Knight before this run, you'll love this book.  If you're just getting into it, this is what to expect from this character.  Enjoy.
