Why are people calling The Thing, Rockman?

Have you been talking to my little girl? She calls him "Rockman" all the time. (She's only 4). I have the Thing mini bust in my display case.

She does know the others by name. She was pretty excited to get the Invisible Woman happy meal toy at Burger King.

Who else has been calling him that?

Some mom who dressed her son as the thing, I think, I saw it at a website.

That's just sad. I guess it's a good thing that the youth of today are learning about real comic heroes and not just manga stuff.

But that's how Hulk talks. He called Black Panther "Black Man" so I think calling Thing "Rock Man" makes perfect sense.

They all have huge hands, I don't know if the Surfer has them, I don't got him. Just the Fantastic Four.

The surfers hand's are perfectly normal in size well I think.
