    The Sword of the Caliph

This story was submitted by writer Gabriel Henriquez in 2016. Gabriel, was also responsible for the first episode of Kid Phantom. Sword of the Caliph is set over two vastly different periods of time, 1666 in the Kingdom of Nyahpura and modern day America. We have colour coded the text boxes in each time to help clarify the period for you. The 17th century, lilac text boxes and 21st century has yellow text boxes. The amazing art was drawn by Giancarlo Caracuzzo, an Italian artist who has worked with some of the biggest publishing houses in the world including Marvel Comics, IDW Publishing, DC Comics, Editions Delcourt, Sergio Bonelli Editore and Universe. Each frame was then beautifully coloured by his daughter Flavia. We take this opportunity to thank them all for their outstanding contributions to Sword of the Caliph, which is Frew Publications' first ever graphic novel.
