Vulture in the back ground. I'm trying to track down one I saw of Carnage that looked really cool. But as far as I am concerned Carnage needs to stay away from this movie.
i think we should have lizard and kraven in the same movie it would be a good combo as u could have kraven hunting lizard and spiderman havin 2 protect conners from kraven but defending himself against lizard.
My vote goes for Lizard, I never was a Carnage fan and I'd hate to see how bad they would do him compared to Venom. Anyways Lizard NEEDS to be in, its way to long over due and you could introduce Kraven that way fairly easily by having him hunt the Lizard and Spider-man. Personally my two fav Spidey rogues are Lizard and Kraven anyways. When Spiderman 5 comes out put in Shocker and Scorpion in my opinion. Also, I personally couldn't care less if they used Vulture....I never liked him, I find him way to lame.
At this point I would be happy with a movie where Parker shacks up with a questionable young lady and then spends the rest of the film trying to come to terms with his newly acquired STD. If there is anything we've learned from comic movies, more villains=worse movie.
I really feel like the less villains there better. Let's recap: Spider-man 1: Origin story and introduction to 1 villain. VERDICT: Decent Spider-man 2: Continuation of the 1st plot and introduction to 1 villain. VERDICT: Pretty good. Spider-man 3: 3 villains and one villain turned sidekick who dies in the end. VERDICT: Garbage.
I'm not really a Raimi fan but it would be suicide to switch director's and continue this line of movies. They would need to start over. Raimi has a pretty good team of people that are used to working together. A new director would mean a re-boot of the series.
They f'd up Venom so bad I couldn't imagine them making Carnage. If I wrote the script, the main plot would focus on Connors being the Lizard. Maybe throw in a low powered Shocker as an easter egg to the fans. But really, the movie should be about Connors undergoing treatment to regrow his arm, then turning into the Lizard after the treatment, returning back to normal the next day. Throw in something about Connors needing to continue the treatment or he would die and you might have a decent story. Most likely they'll just make the 4th installment a big clusterfuck of Spider-man jobbers.
theres been info for along time, directly from Raimi after 3 hit the theaters. 4 and 5 are being filmed together, larger in part that Fox Studios license is almost up and theyre milking it. Raimi overstated that his choice for a villian is Morbius, seconded by The Lizard in interviews.

Carnage would be a huge mistake for the movies. Unless you plan on giving the movie an R rating you would not be able to give this character justice. Not to mention the fact there are many, many more villains who deserve a spot in the movie before him.
topher grace would have done better playing carnage. Since they already screwed up the symbiotes I hope they go in a different direction. Lizard, Kraven, or Electro. Even Vulture could be cool if they did it right. which is of course a pretty big if.
carnage would be the bomb especially with electro because the symbiote's weakness is eelectricity so spider-man could suck electro into a generator then carnage will get shocked bye bye carn. and electro is lost within electric wires! there story ends!

You guys don't know Sam Raimi, clearly. Becuase he HATES symbiotes. That and the studio is giving him back creative control for the 4th. So obviously Carnage ain't gonna be there.
I, myself, have lost faith in this franchise, save for the Venom movie. And the only reason I have faith in the Venom movie is becuase the guys writing it... ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING.
it's obviously clear that sony and sam raimi can't agree on the villains, so here is what should happen. a voting poll should be set up and the villains that get the most votes will be in the next movie
