Aysha, Chloe and Vivien are the three Sisters of Balance, mysterious entities with the duty to preserve the Law of Equilibrium. The Law was established countless years ago to maintain the truce between The Other Side and The Ameshas and avoid the ruin of the Multiverse. There are others, unknown guardians of the Law on other planes of existence and Earth is assigned to the Sisters since ancient times. They are neutral figures, however, they have emotions and feelings like any other being. One of their tasks, and the most shown in the series, is to prevent that newborn Dampyr falls in the hand of either Masters of the Night or anyone who can use it for personal purposes, until adulthood, when they will be able to make their own choices. They gave Taliesin a new family and raised Harlan Draka and have a strong bond with the latter.
