"I wouldn't recommend anything Dark Reign related either. I've been avoiding it whenever possible, if it's already on my pull list I'll pick it up, but otherwise no. I'm bummed that Thor got sucked into it. War of Kings has been sub-par so far too, which is a major disappointment, because I thought both Annihilation and Conquest were fantastic. Iron Fist is good, but if you haven't read the series, good luck following it. Wolverine is fantastic, for now. Fantastic Four is pretty good, I don't know that I'd put it at the top of my recommendation list though. For the most part I've been reading Marvel out of habit in the last few months. It's not really a great time to pick them up. Wait 'til next year."
Hehe, yeah the thing about Immortal Iron Fist is probably true... I picked up late and ended up buying pretty much every trade paperback they had :P Still, I don't regret it, and the newer issues are pretty good, even though I still miss David Aja... But Travel Foreman is pretty good. Well, he is now... In the last arc he was utter crap, I had no idea what was going on half the time.
New Avengers is pretty cool from what I've read so far, and if you can afford it three times a month I would recommend Amazing Spider-Man. I know most people hate it and ever more people haven't even tried it after the One More Day fiasco, but there are some good stories here.

As for him revealing himself to the New Avengers, it did make a lot of sense. Everyone else was sitting around maskless while Spidey kept his on all the time.

Yeah, symbiotes again would be a bad idea, but I'm still trying to come up with a cool mechanic to replace the black suit... But then maybe they don't even need an extra mechanic, just do a Spidey game...
Ooh, never mind, I got one. A first for Spidey free roam games... TWO PLAYER CO-OP!
With all the characters in the last game, lots of people were expecting them to be playable. And this is something that lots of people want. I know it'll probably never happen, but having Spidey swing around New York with Daredevil or Black Cat or maybe even the Human Torch at his side would be awesome.
Anyway, they definitely need to do another story that they made up themselves. Maybe something to do with the Sinister Six, maybe something to do with Kingpin, maybe both... Just something that involves lots of goons and bosses.

Oh boo hoo, they took away the stingers. Having never collected comics during the times when he had them, I can say I won't miss them. As for organic webs, the web shooters are so much more interesting. Sure they limit Peter's power, but this way he can make different web fluid for different occasions, along with the classic 'Oh crap, I'm out of web fluid.' thing, where Peter has to try and win without any webs. It makes things a lot more challenging for him.
And Venom attacking at any possible moment was not 'One of the biggest threats'. You can't honestly tell me they had Venom jumping out at unexpected moments in every comic before BND. Now we've got an even bigger threat... Spidey running out of WEB FLUID! GLORIOUS WONDERFUL WEB FLUID!!!
Then again, as you haven't read the comics, there's not much point arguing with you anyway, lol
Shocker and Mysterio don't NEED to become major menaces! It's fine with guys like Kraven or Vulture cause they're either a) Dead or b) Not that popular, but Shocker and Mysterio are both CLASSIC villains, and their goofy costumes are as much a part of their characters as anything.
I would only accept a revamped, major-menace version of either of those two if Shultz and Beck aren't in the costume. In fact it would be kinda cool to have two Shockers at the same time, one badass and the other... Herman... lol... Would be fun to see Herman's reaction to a new guy and Spidey's reaction to a new Shocker... He could even try to get Herman back to beat the newbie or something... Could be cool.
But Herman Shultz should NEVER become a badass. He's just too lame the way he is, and his lameness is what makes him so great.
She should totally hook up with Blob. Well... She should have before he got depowered... Now he's all sucidal and skinny and stuff. Speaking of that, how come getting depowered meant Blob lost a truck load of weight? It wasn't just his abilities that made him fat.
